  1. So 4 teams attendances are up 6 are down.....Wow! Who would have thought that fans would turn out in different numbers as their form and league position changed....I'd hazard a guess Motherwell, Inverness and St Johnstone were maybe up....wow who'd have thought eh? And 27,000 of his fans with a season ticket chose not to take up their seats opposed to 23,000 Celtic fans with season tickets who chose to do similarly....wow that's a shock, people who can afford to buy a season ticket to assure them of their seat but the odd week have other commitments or simply choose to do something else. Ohh my God the game is dying! ....and they accuse others of putting out hysterical non stories.
  2. Notice the governments brilliant idea to "help cut the cost of child care" today by increasing nursery ratios. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-21232270 Genius.the only people who wil benefit from this will be the fat cat nursery owners...sure as hell won't see better paid staff or a cut in the cost. Always love visiting the comments section of these articles....among the negatively rated comments for this one were "How hard can it be too look after two year olds or are they being taught astrophysics" ( my Mrs would cut his balls off for that first part) "I think the high cost of child care is a good thing as it acts as a disincentive for people to have children and so helps population control." .....and my personal favourite "To me it would be more important that my child wasn't taught to pronounce aitch as haitch."
  3. It's a shame they have to wait so long each time he lets them down. October 15th 2011 Racially abuses Patrice Evra December 20th 2011 - Found Guilty of racial abuse Ruling stated: "Mr Suarez used insulting words towards Mr Evra during the match contrary to FA Rule E3(1); The insulting words used by Mr Suarez included a reference to Mr Evra's colour within the meaning of Rule E3(2)." Manager and club defend him to the hilt even wearing supportiveT-shirts prepared to take his word over Evra's Feb 11 2012 Lies to his manager and club that he would shake Evra's hand and close the incident but refuses Evra's offered handshake in the return match Manager again tries to ignore it ....didn't see it Proof on TV pictures Apology 7 October 2012 Suarez deliberately dives against Stoke trying to win a penalty October 2012 8 October 2012 Manager defends him claiming he hs been the subject of unjust “vilification” 16 January 2013 Suarez admits to Stoke dive on Fox Sports Argentina 17 January 2013 Manager Apologises He's their player so fair enough, defend him on his word.....But he clearly is not an honest man so how many times are they going to "take his word" and defend him before being made a fool of when evidence surfaces of his guilt.
  4. If the "club" didn't have anything to do with it's financial affairs but was just run by a "company", did the "club" buy and pay the players or the "company" buy and pay the players? Surely if the "Club" didn't own the players they were all subject to 'third-party' ownership?
  5. Alan Hansen's imput this morning in The Telegraph "Whatever moral high ground you take over Luis Suárez’s goal, no footballer would ever ask for a goal to be disallowed. It has never happened in the history of the game. It will never happen in my lifetime." Maybe he only watches Match of the Day highlights and LFC TV and didn't see Miroslav Klose recently ...knowledge of football and research for his article in his own words.... Shoddy ! It's all just a bit of sad reflection on the game. Non league side just delighted to be drawn against Liverpool with it's history. Make a great gesture prematch in putting the Hillsborough victims names on 96 seats left vacant. Concede an early goal to a striker who probably gets paid more in a month than their whole team is worth. Suarez handles and knows it but sheepishly continues finishing off a side who shouldn't be a challenge to them any way. You do something like that on the golf course and your name is mud....as mentioned snooker players call fouls on themselves regularly. Just sad
  6. Who would be honest enough to do that eh? A proper man not a disgrace to his club's shirt.
  7. Psychopath? Ticks a lot of boxes...had them as players (Neil Cooper) but maybe never running the club. My link Glib and Superficial Psychopaths are often voluble and verbally facile. They can be amusing and entertaining conversationalists, ready with a clever comeback, and are able to tell unlikely but convincing stories that cast themselves in a good light. Egocentric and Grandiose Psychopaths have a narcissistic and grossly inflated view of their own self-worth and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement, and see themselves as the centre of the universe, justified in living according to their own rules. Lack of Remorse or Guilt Psychopaths show a stunning lack of concern for the effects their actions have on others, no matter how devastating these might be. They may appear completely forthright about the matter, calmly stating that they have no sense of guilt, are not sorry for the ensuing pain, and that there is no reason now to be concerned. Poor Behavior Controls Besides being impulsive, psychopaths are highly reactive to perceived insults or slights. Most of us have powerful inhibitory controls over our behaviour; even if we would like to respond aggressively we are usually able to "keep the lid on." In psychopaths, these inhibitory controls are weak, and the slightest provocation is sufficient to overcome them. But, their actions have a “cold” and focused quality about them, and return to “normal” is quick. A Need for Excitement Psychopaths have an ongoing and excessive need for excitement—they long to live in the fast lane or "on the edge," where the action is. In many cases the action involves the breaking of rules. Lack of Responsibility Obligations and commitments mean nothing to psychopaths. Their good intentions—"I'll never cheat on you again"—are promises written on the wind. Their performance on the job is erratic, with frequent absences, misuse of company resources, violations of company policy, and general untrustworthiness. They do not honour formal or implied commitments to people, organizations, or principles. Adult Antisocial Behaviour Psychopaths see the rules and expectations of society as inconvenient and unreasonable impediments to their own behavioural expression. They make their own rules. Antisocial behaviour may consist of phoney stock promotions, questionable business practices, partner or child abuse, and so forth. Others do things that are not necessarily illegal but are nevertheless unethical, immoral, or harmful to others: cheating on a partner, emotional abuse, bullying, to name but a few.
  8. Surely the offer could have been more inviting. Each of the Potential 500 million world wide audience could put themselves in for just 4 pence for the chance to see their team built into a European Superpower. Or think big and go for fiver each giving a war chest of £ 2.5 billion with which they could blow away the likes of Barca, Madrid, Chelsea, Man Unt & Man City. (each investor gets his TV games free)
  9. Representing a team so keen to harp on about past history he's picked a strange choice in Villa. Aston Villa are one of an elite group of seven clubs that has played in every Premiership season. They are fifth in the All-time FA Premier League table, and have the fourth highest total of major honours won by an English club with 20 wins. ...and as mentioned the useless gits have one of these
  10. Oh bless him he did the same at Sheffiel……ahh no wait he didn’t See he's planning on being in Europe again in 3 years...how's he managing the qualify for this while spouting nonsense about not taking up invitation to SPL when they win Div 1. Sadly looks like he's after deluded desparate peoples Christmas cash.....no better than one of these hamper companies who collapse in the run up to Christmas.
  11. Not content with using the old strip, badge and claiming their history...you're inheriting their grasp of numbers too? Outgoing Finance 1. Transfer fees 2. Players wages 2. Players wages extra ;o) ..."there's two number 2's....whoops silly us..........again"
  12. Pathetic from most likely the very same people who had a right old belly laugh at Sir Alastair Burnet comment on national news about "Celtic, they must be getting used to it, nil" They were all on calling him a legend a few weeks ago when he died. Mind you Falkirk fans had our Panda sacked in a sense of humour bypass.
  13. Word of warning. Now I'm not arsed as I come here for a bit of fun but what you've done with your post is use the "quote" feature indicating that those were the words I actually wrote. I wrote nothing like that and as such your post would be considered libel if you did this with something that mattered. You can write your interpretation of what you thought my words meant or what you considered my mood but do not put that in quotes. Are you seething (or seeting I think you managed to mispell ) because I, in minutes, found information which showed Sevco shouldn't claim a wonderful 4th tier record? Also happy to help
  14. Lifted from Wikipedia Is this the honestly the standard of journalism accepted at this paper. 2 minutes maximum to find Brazil Serie D 59,966 for Santa Cruz soccerway Be interesting to see Sevco claim this World Record in a stadium that doesn't house that many while still claiming an attendance of 38,999
  15. Still showing the old club badge...surely they need to design a new strip and badge before the start of the season as these were the colours badge of the old debt ridden and tax/rule cheating club.
  16. Surely today's the day a vote of no confidence is proposed in Doncaster or a straight termination of contract if that's how it goes. After doing his best to devalue the SPL to any broadcaster over the last few weeks he can't be trusted to lead renegotiation of the SKY contract.
  17. Tell me that's been photoshopped surely.....Oh I feel so embarrassed for him... I used to know an 8 yr old wee boy at primary school who used to come out with that sort of thing when John Greig had his talented 80's squad.
  18. CARDIFF BOSS & FORMER CELTIC DEFENDER MALKY MACKAY "I hope they do go into the First Division. Portsmouth are a Premiership club and I don't think anyone could believe a Premiership club could go into administration. ......err no they are not ! They were a Premiership Club on the back of spending money the club simply could not sustain....and purely on playing staff.....might have had a smidge more sympathy if they'd spent anything on upgrading a dreadful non premiership ground which doesn't even cover the away support. Some would say Leeds are a Premiership Club...but they're not because they were so badly financially mismanaged in the past Is that seriously the best argument he has to support his real opinion " I want to see Celtic v someone in blue who used to be Rangers games so we can shout and sing stuff at each other like we used to".
  19. Not that I think relegation option is possible but, Relegation would have to be the old entity Rangers with all the Tax liabilities, dual contracts and disrepute charges as a Newco was refused admission So in the 1st they'd then what.....liquidate and transfer share to NewCo? Points deduction of what was it they agreed 1/3 of previous season total - 24pts? Doubtful if the squad they have would get the desired 2013 promotion with that handicap.
  20. Yippee ....AND? What's the point of that?. Last season the Scottish Leagues saw around 3,613,294 though turnstiles. (going on 3,190,414 figure for SPL 2011-12 and 452,880 for SFL 2010-11 figure) Rangers were 28% of this = 1,011,722 If 'loyal' ex Rangers support choose to back the NewCo team then how does this change anything except some of our smaller clubs get a boost ( 1 year for most ) at the expense of the SPL clubs, who frankly have being paying silly wages to many very average players? 45,000 x 18 NewCo home games = 810,000 (very likely another 100,000 if they got 2 or 3 home cup ties in the 3 cups they'd be in) Even if no old Rangers fans went to any NewCo away games that 810,000 is a drop in attendance figures of just over 5% Proves they were a big club and that's hardly news.
