KiwiDB
For me, girls who go to school early (i.e. Jan/Feb birthday and go at age 4) tend to do well, but boys struggle - particularly around S3/4 as they don't have the emotional maturity to cope with the exams. Obviously that's a sweeping generalisation and there are always exceptions, but I find it usually works out that way. Yeah, my wee sister was born on 28th February so was the youngest in her school intake, not even 4 and a half when she started school but it's certainly never done her any harm. If anything, it helped her development hugely.

diamonds2002
swimming went well. He was a bit unsure to begin with but he started to enjoy it until I let his head go underwater. He was not keen on that. All in all a success and back next Sunday

Guest The Phoenix
Thanks folks. Being a Grandad is the best feeling possible aside from being a Dad. I've had a stupid grin on my face all day*. (*Aye, ok business as usual)
