TheGoon
Really enjoyed the Nick Gage DSOTR. A complete lunatic but an interesting one.
TheGoon
New Jack has passed away. One of a kind.
Ira Gaines
There's not many you could say that about but it definitely applies here. When I first started buying ECW videos from WH Smith, he was someone who really stood out for a number of reasons.
djchapsticks
New Jack was undoubtedly a complete piece of shit as a person but there was something just indescribable about him. He was on paper and in his actions, totally abhorrent but when you watched him and listened to his shoot interviews, he was a difficult guy to actually hate. He described his despicable actions with a level of almost nonchalance and naivety that you found yourself laughing with him rather than horrified at him without realising it. The time he tried to kill Vic Grimes was a great example of this.
Bert Raccoon
A one of a kind, c**t was genuinely mental. RIP

DA Baracus
Regarding the Rumbles, 2000 is surprisingly light on talent and quite underwhelming overall. You can't go wrong with 2001 and 2002. Most of the 2000s are at least decent, with some being excellent.

airdrieman
To use the modern day parlance New Jack is definitely a ‘problematic fave’ of mine. He took advantage of his opponents bodies to such an extreme that he really should have been black listed, with plenty of justification. But he was an utterly compelling, charismatic and entertaining character and human being. Even today his ‘gimmick’ (or really just being himself) would be considered cutting edge, let alone when he was cutting the promos he was in Hicksville towns in the early 90s. And watching his matches with their spots (him jumping from or chucking people from obscene heights), the weapon shots, the music and the promos and it’s hard not to be entertained. Rest in power New Jack.

Ira Gaines
I can't even pretend to say he's doing anything other than rotting in hell. Bigot c**t.

Ludo*1
Decent wee video (if slightly annoying host) rating New Jack's time in TNA. Had a decent wee run there which is largely forgotten.
Ira Gaines
If he was able to get out of his small wheelhouse, he'd easily have been a bigger star than he was, even with the baggage he had. But he was never able to get out of that. Brief runs were about all he could do.
Killiesquirrel
Assume Backlash will be a short one if it’s 6 matches? Tempted to maybe stay up for it
Ira Gaines
I'm staying up for a Cesaro vs Reigns PPV match. I can't stress enough how amazing that match will likely be.
forameus
Yeah, decided to stay up purely for it starting it midnight and likely be a sprint. Should be a solid show if nothing spectacular. Reigns vs Cesaro will be great, but think it might suffer from the fact that there's surely absolutely zero chance that we can't write the finish already. Should be enjoyable getting there, but it'd be a million times better if we were at a point where you could see Reigns being toppled. But certainly won't do Cesaro any harm to put on a good showing
DA Baracus
What's the long term plan with Reigns? Aside from perhaps Big E, I can't see anyone who would be built up to finally defeat him.
