RandomGuy.
Cheers lads, one of the rowdy Arabs bunch have planned to buy smoke bombs for a game in Aberdeen, I have warned them that they face a football banning order and I just wanted to confirm the club will also face action before going loco. I take it the United fans decided to copy us after the derby last month?
peeeel
I take it the United fans decided to copy us after the derby last month? Possibly, I don't think it's a coincidence that one of our local nut-jobs found a link not long after. TBH nothing to be proud of.
Karpaty
An Ayr fan got 6 months in the pokey for letting one off at Airdrie. Tell him he's fucking daft if he lets it off.

lichtgilphead
Where the f**k is Stannergate? Parallel with East Dock Street/Broughty Ferry Road on the dock side of the railway line. Not sure where it started, but Wilson's Dog Meal factory is (or was?) at the Broughty Ferry end edit - rogue apostrophe Edited September 17, 2013 by lichtgilphead

lichtgilphead
My phone is saying I live there, though I live in Invergowrie. Never been there in my life I don't think. I'm sure that the sign used to be on this junction on Broughty Ferry Road. It doesn't seem to be there now though according to Google Maps https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=dundee&hl=en&ll=56.468323,-2.921104&spn=0.000001,0.000955&hnear=Dundee,+Dundee+City,+United+Kingdom&t=h&z=20&layer=c&cbll=56.468323,-2.921104&panoid=-Li2HOy4dDU31uhol9cjJw&cbp=12,154.7,,0,0
GeeJay
why do people arrested on tv shows like motorway cops sign the disclosure forms to allow them to be shown on tv? can't think of a single reason. do they get paid?
ForeverSinging
why do people arrested on tv shows like motorway cops sign the disclosure forms to allow them to be shown on tv? can't think of a single reason. do they get paid? Same, I've always wondered about this. The best (or worst) example is the American show "To Catch A Predator" where they basically trick people into outing themselves as paedophiles. Even if you were paid why would you want it broadcast on international television that you were a massive beast? Unbelievable behaviour imo
Bonksy+HisChristianParade
Why do shops, especially in backwards wee towns like Perth, only open between the hours of 9 and 5 when the majority of people are at work? It doesn't seem to make any sense. In other countries shops open at around 10 or 11 and stay open much later, actually allowing people to go to them during the week.

If retailers aren't making themselves available at times when it would best suit their potential customers then go elsewhere. Supermarkets are a success because they're good at recognising that people aren't interested in 9-5 opening hours and closed or restricted Sunday hours anymore. Our habits as a culture have changed and if retailers won't bend and adapt to the demands of their punters then they deserve to be left behind. Those who whine about globalisation and the death of the high street can be left with their inconvenient and overpriced wee grocers and the rest of us can get on with our lives.
