Quick Question Thread

The liquid from one of those air freshener plugs leaked onto my oak furniture land table yesterday and has melted the varnish off a bit. What’s the best thing to do about this?

Thats not the varnish thats melted off m9. Just clean the rest of your table now.

I wouldn't worry about it.

It's bound to smell better now.

Thanks mate, I dunno what the finish is exactly but I could find out off oak furniture land surely if I made an enquiry. I have no idea about wood finishing etc as you can probably tell so am at a loss as to what to do!

It says to wax it 3-4 times a year so it'll be something oily/waxy as opposed to polyurethane. Better news for your elbow, generally speaking you can touch up waxed furniture for marks where you need to start from scratch with polyurethane.

So you think I could just buy any furniture wax and it'll do?
