weirdcal Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Posted it in E-Chat but it's more likely to get much more views here; is there any way to easily combine two different documents on Microsoft Word? Having to combine all the individual pages for a group submission at Uni this week.Copy, pasteMagic 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Zen Archer (Raconteur) Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 How much would one expect to pay for a reputable tradesperson to swap out a system boiler and replace with a combi boiler? Including materials and vat, probably around £1,500 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Afro Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Copy, paste Magic If only it were that simple, sadly it fucks up the masses of formatting I've made. Looks like it'll be hours of reformatting for me, then. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ginge123 Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 I think under the insert tab there's an option to insert file. I had to do this with my dissertation and it was a fucking pain. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
welshbairn Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 I was told it was because of a backlog of data in the barrier Machine. On the plus side, Scot Rail have employed 16 new staff at Inverness to monitor the automatic ticket machines! 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

philpy Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 This has been doing my head in - why do folk drive to their work, and then get out of the car and let their other half drive away?? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
weirdcal Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 Maybe their other half needs the car?I think the point is, if the other half can drive, why do they swap drivers? See it happening at my work and its because (and I quote) 'shes not comfortable driving in rush hour traffic' odd if you ask me 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dee Man Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 This has been doing my head in - why do folk drive to their work, and then get out of the car and let their other half drive away?? Probably because the guy would like to arrive at work alive. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The_Kincardine Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) This has been doing my head in - why do folk drive to their work, and then get out of the car and let their other half drive away?? It's because women are inherently lazy. Probably because the guy would like to arrive at work alive. I read this and didn't assume, "their other half " was a woman. Interesting to see casual sexism at work on the forum. Edited October 22, 2014 by The_Kincardine 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LinkinFighter Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Anyone know why Confidemus was banned? Might not be permanent. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AberdeenBud Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Can't imagine Confi doing anything that warrented a ban? Certainly not since his soup thread. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted October 23, 2014 Share Posted October 23, 2014 Would I be able to book a holiday without having a passport at the time of booking? Don't most airlines ask you for your passport details when booking 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lightscamera Posted October 23, 2014 Share Posted October 23, 2014 This has been doing my head in - why do folk drive to their work, and then get out of the car and let their other half drive away?? My Mrs does this... She offers me a lift to work which means I drive and then she takes the car back home. If she also decides to pick me up again then I (normally) drive home... Any time she does the driving I get home and my knuckles are white! I dont think she realises that braking is meant to be done gradually 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
