Bambino7
If he's not offered an extension before then the board are asleep at the wheel. I would agree. He's been assured that will be looked after and to concentrate on rehab but with the new manager and the team doing well it's always a little unsettling especially being only his second professional contract.
shahoorsir
It looked to me like McKinnon pretty much wanted to build his team around Vaughan and it was gutting that he picked up the injury. I doubt McKinnon will have changed his view but I'd personally like to see something firmed up (oooeeeer) sooner rather than later. I'm sure Lewis would as well.

renton
He's hoping for March mate. He's out of contract in the summer so hoping to show what he can do before then. That'd be bloody brilliant.
Ro Sham Bo
Vaughan needn't worry. We might have been doing okay (last few weeks excepted) but that's almost been in spite of our forwards rather than because of them. Vaughan could play on crutches and be as much of a goal threat as Daly and Wighton.

Hank Scorpio
Please do. We'd need to be insane not to offer him another couple of years, and hopefully sooner rather than later. He deserves to be totally looked after.

Raithie
Hoping when Vaughan returns he can still produce the goods. Would hate to see a scenario where he's a fraction of the player he was prior to his injury or that his injury has hampered him in anyway. Terrific talent on his day and there is always a real buzz when he gets the ball. Out the players that have came through our youth system he's the main guy that seemed he might push on to greater things. Great to hear he's ahead of schedule but don't want to rush him back but certainly hope the club do the right thing and make sure he's looked after and if he's keen to stay with us and progress from there then we should do everything in our power to make it happen.
Rovers1992/1993
Not sure if you guys know but Lewis seen a specialist down South a couple of weeks back and was given the good news his rehab is well ahead of schedule at this point. I think he has to go back at the end of Jan to hopefully get the all clear to get back training. There was an interview in the Ffp last week with him which he was saying how much he wants to get back on the pitch and that he has to go back down on the 10th of February to get the all clear in which he can start full training so hes hoping 3 or 4 weeks after that, that he'll be back in Mckinnon's plans for the remainder of the season. I'll go as far as saying, if we're still neck and neck in the fight for fourth place when Vaughan comes back in( as long as Stewart doesn't pick up an injury) then I would be confident of us getting 4th spot.

Yeah that's pretty much what the script is. No idea what the ffp is though.

Paco
Appreciate at a club like ourselves, finances are dictated not only by what league we're in but who else is in the league... but for f**k sake give Vaughan a contract as soon as possible. Broken Algorithms
Can only echo what's been said. Vaughan is one of the outstanding young talents in the league. Some Queens fans actually came on to this thread following his injury and said they were gutted because, even though he's caused massive problems, he's so talented they were excited to see what he could do. I'd sorely hope we'll look monitoring how he's doing. I'd obviously expect Lewis to look after himself first and foremost, but I'd love him to stay. I've never seen a player at this level with such a talent for gliding past challenges.

Novo was outstanding for us when he arrived in Scotland, he'd be surrounded by three defenders and somehow appear with the ball. There's not been many though, that's for sure.

There's not been many though, that's for sure. Ramon Perriera was good at ghosting past players as well. I remember him scoring a goal against Ayr when he ran from seemed like the half way line. Surprised he flopped at other clubs. He looked a class act...
