Raith Against The Machine
If John McGlynn is a dinosaur then Dick Campbell is a stale crouton floating limply in the primordial soup. Ridiculous notion that he be involved in full time football in 2017.
Sweaty Morph
To be fair, he does have outstanding credentials for getting teams promoted from the lower leagues.Wouldn't be a mental choice. I'm wondering what his thoughts on our youth set up would be, and how well/closely he'd work with them.
Brashy's Boots
Had it confirmed that Campbell is being interviewed tomorrow but will turn it down as he wants to remain part time as he also runs a business. If we were somehow to convince him to come then he'd be bringing along a very special assistant though, someone who the fans would definitely take to...a club legend you might say. Out with it, or you're a half a story arsehole.
Scary Bear
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Campbell_(footballer)You could say he's the outstanding candidate for the lower leagues. Given his relative success with Angus clubs, surely Montrose should be the next stop.
Scary Bear
I'd prefer Lennon or McGlynn but Morton employed Jim Duffy and it worked out.
Typicalrovers
I'd go for Campbell over Young or Easton to get us up in a season. Bit of a clown but he has a few promotions under his belt.
Broken Algorithms
In my view, Dick Campbell would be a tragic appointment by the club. Completely backwards, and one which would pretty much be a statement of non-intent from the fans. We're not looking for Mourinho or Guardiola here, but for f**k sake is Dick Campbell really the man to lead our club forward? If he's appointed, it'd be like a timewarp back to 12 months ago when we went for Locke. It would pretty much scream at the fans, "we don't give a f**k about you, or your views".
Bambino7
Darren Young or Danny Lennon. One of the two.

Sweaty Morph
Darren Young or Danny Lennon. One of the two. I'd take Chick Young and John Lennon over Dick Campbell.
Raith Against The Machine
I'd rather we appointed an actual penis, and a really camp bell.

DA Baracus
Dick Campbell, as well as being a dinosaur, is also a horrible bigot c**t. He would be a tragic appointment for you lads.
D.A.F.C
League One isn't hard as long as you get 2000+ crowds and outspend everyone else. edit: unless you are Jim Jefferies Ayr, Alloa/Brechin and Airdrie could be decent competition. Don't go down the youth route like we did, just sign experienced guys and physically bigger players for the key positions. I think Hughes would've turned it around next season but it would mean an entire new team. Edited May 19, 2017 by D.A.F.C

Raith Against The Machine
It's fine though, I'm sure the board will do it's due diligence and speak to Dick Campbell's pals to find out if he's any use.
Wee Sandy
John Baird and James Craigen combine to put Falkirk one up.
