Easy Days for Raith
Second place get the home leg on the Saturday.Finishing third sounds more appealing. What about the final, if we get there, does the championship side get the home leg on the saturday?

If they don't then I think the Saturday final game would then go to Forfar or us as the next highest league finishers.

As much as I'd like a Saturday away day over midweek, the extra money finishing second is far more important to the club. Think it's about £30k. 21 minutes ago, bobbykdy said: That would assume that the Championship side comes out on top v 4th in league one. Noticed Forfar are top of the form league since the new year.

Scary Bear
I want the midweek home game first. Try and get a lead then hope the pressure affects the home team on the Saturday.
Hank Scorpio
I want the midweek home game first. Try and get a lead then hope the pressure affects the home team on the Saturday.I’ve had a good think about it and I’m in agreement, I’d prefer the away leg on Saturday. I love Stark’s midweek games, there’s something about the atmosphere that’s that bit better than usual. As you say, a lead midweek and a big travelling support on the Saturday would be my preference.
Enigma
Can’t agree. I’d much rather have the Saturday game at Stark’s. I’d rather know we have to get something at home than hold on to something away.
Beachbum
One clean sheet in the last 17 league games and you're bothered about home or away first?

We knew what we had to do against Brechin and Alloa but that didn’t help. The only time we’ve won a play-off game was the year before when we played Hibs first and won. Didn’t win the tie on the Saturday, but still. We’re more likely to bring a big noisy support to Forfar on a Saturday than a Wednesday.

A meek midweek home game and the utter annihilation in the Saturday fixture
