The New Raith Rovers Thread

Kind of agree with the response of most. Not a signing that brings huge excitement but there is definitely a potential player in there. He's only 23 so it's kind of make or break for his full time football career and the baldy messiah has the capability to polish up players like this.

Benefit of the doubt given but Dario will need to work very hard to impress.

I’d say the zanatta signing is unexpected to say the least, but I think having seen the way he can play previously and with a big point to prove, which is sure he knows is the case, along with the style of play we have and with McGlynn having previous for getting the best out of some players, here’s hoping it becomes a good bit of business

Quite possibly!

He's probably another player who stays in contact with the gaffer for advice etc, my guess would be that McGlynn has told him that's he's reached a crossroads.  We're offering an opportunity to come and maybe re-ignite his career..........or.........

Tade, Graham, Nisbet etc all came with big question marks and Mcglynn helped them take that next step in their careers.  As others have said there is a player in their just needs to come in with the right mindset to work hard and listen.  Still young enough fingers crossed this turns out to be a good signing.

Where is the person who said mcglynn wasn't very clever on Saturday?

I can only assume Paul Smith took charge today...

On a serious note, that was an absolute joy to watch. I can't recall seeing a Rovers side play with such a combination of ability and hard work since the days of Jimmy Nicholl.

I was tempted to drive down to Stark's and applaud their cars as they left but settled for pouring a glass of whisky.

What a night to be a Rovers fan.

2 years ago this weekend, we scraped a 1-1 draw away to Stenhousemuir as we fell 12 points behind Arbroath.

I mind that game, best bit was the mascot.
