Rovers1992/1993
Dylan McGeough may have been too much money for us but what an excellent signing for Hibs he is. Gary Oliver out to Stenny from Hearts too - should we have been in there? Doubt Hearts would've cared as long as he didn't play against them. Would be very disappointed if we don't add to the squad, preferably up front as a priority but out wide is still an area in need of proper competition for me. Yet another centre back may also be needed, who knows, but that's nobody's fault. Just one of those things. There's players out there in need of a move/game time if they're youngsters in the Premier. Just a matter of finding them. Lets hope we do find a couple in the next 6 hours then..

Rovers1992/1993
The transfer window closing doesn't affect us. I was lead to believe that season long loans had to be finalised today, after that, it can only be short term loans? I may be wrong though..
Scottydog
We have apparent strength in depth, but only in certain areas and IMO very limited in the main. 4 goalkeepers so no issues there.......hopefully! 7 central defenders (Hill, Watson, Barr, Ellis, Bates, Murray and now Perry) so shouldn't be an issue but kinda was at the weekend as we were left with Watson and what would have been deemed our 5th choice centre half. 2 Fullbacks with no real cover in this position unless you count Fox and Ellis. This area is potentially a real worry. 5 potential central midfielders again Barr is one of that number but it shouldn't be a problem area despite what we've seen so far. 2 out and out wingers and Stewart for wing cover. A fairly weak area where I'd welcome David Smith in on a Seasons loan. 4 strikers if you again count Stewart but despite both Stewart & Vaughan scoring against Cowdenbeath historically the 4 are all guys with less than prolific records. Love to see us bring in a fullback (Booth would have been great), a winger (D Smith please) and a front man who is more predatory (a poacher!).

Paco
Kyle Benedictus to Alloa on loan. I've no idea how bad Perry's injury is but certainly would've been a good option if Perry is out for even a month or so. And dare I say it, it may have been a better option back in July when Perry signed....
ADMO
I would be happy to grab a full back for cover and another striker to be honest ! Would be delighted to grab a young fearless winger who will drive at people aswell, but Murray will probably sign none of the above and add another keeper knowing his logic hahaha ! Serious though, i didnt think about the fact we normally loan from Edinburghs two and now they are in with us, that to me makes it more obvious we probably wont be adding ... If we do in the above positions ill be delighted, but i personally cant see it !

Michael W
One more player than last season, no cover at full back and no options out wide. So glad we've got that bigger squad. Edited September 1, 2014 by Michael W
Ro Sham Bo
We could've really done with someone who can play out wide and/or full back.

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Think Murray is sitting by the phone? You can do that stuff online now. http://www.just-eat.co.uk/?#utm_source=bing&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=+(takeaways%2Ftake%20away%2Ftakeaway%2Ftake%20aways)%20+menu%20+%7Bd%7D&utm_term=takeaway%20menus
renton
Think Murray is sitting by the phone? Well, the Edinburgh Evening News had us in for Smith, and they are generally reliable as a source for anything Edibnrugh football related. The fact that he's away to Falkirk on a two year deal probably tells a similar story to how we lost out on Baird. Think Murray will probably be away to his bed after that. Hank Scorpio
Smith was after £700 a week apparently, Falkirk agreed to it and we didn't.
