Was going to green dot this then noticed there's nae butter on the top half. Did you run out?

Was liberally applied on the bottom half. I'm a massive butter fan but not keen on it melted.

The thinking behind this is delving into it before the butter gets a chance to melt too much.

I do realise that taking a photograph kind of defeats this purpose

CalMac breakfast. Nothing special apart from the Stornoway Black pudding.

Much fruitier tasting than any of the namesake I've ever had.

Not a connoisseur of black pudding. I love the stuff in all forms.

Aye, I'm on trip with a guy from Inyervest and he does the isles a lot so was a bit bewildered by my OTT praise of the black pudding. I'm beginning to realise Dundee is full of skullduggery and I've been getting lied to buying 'Stornaway' black pudding from the butchers. This stuff this morning is a level above anything I've had before.

Think black pudding dipped in a sunny side egg is one of lifes guilty pleasures.

I love an egg and black pudding softie, with broon sauce.

When the egg bursts it mixes in with the broon sauce then soaks down into the black pudding.

Ohhh aye min!

I'll be in Oban in about an hour if you fancy a square go you grumpy old shit.

I have many friends and family in Oban. Pretty much the whole town. I even know a chef on one of the Calmac boats, could've even made your breakfast this morning.

If you see them, say hello.
