I am honestly not following you about the board replying

but....

If you ever get the chance to try the Ness black pudding from Lewis, to me , it is possibly the best you can taste

I love spreading it on toast with bacon and a runny egg

I would use a knife, but each to their own...

Crusty loaf.... As you can see, the quality control piece has already been taken whilst warm.

Do you butter the quality control piece or eat it as is?

It's like you don't know me at all 😂

In fairness I would happily eat homemade bread without butter but given the choice, which I was, it gets a good old layer

CalMac breakfast. Nothing special apart from the Stornoway Black pudding.

Much fruitier tasting than any of the namesake I've ever had.

Just came on to say Stornoway pudding isn’t even the best black pudding on Lewis despite its widespread reputation and was going to recommend a far better option but looks like Don Diego is ITK…

Correct! A visit to Cross Stores in Ness is a must. By a country mile the best black pudding I’ve ever had. Far superior to the Stornoway stuff.

Jealous. I fucking love seafood and the poor availability thereof in this country is a fucking disgrace

It's mental considering we live on an island.

There are a couple of smokies shacks in Arbroath that are worth visiting. These are tiny wee huts but have fresh caught smokies that are top quality fish (fish that are sold pretty much fresh from the sea, nothing added to them and usually from that morning).
