Last night’s dinner.  Lobster from Crail, cooked whilst you wait and then cracked open for easy meat extraction.  Tiger prawns and tortilla.  Some lemon mayonnaise and chilli dip.  Had a nice Chablis from M&S that I hadn’t tried before.

Did you get one of your labourers to butter the bread?

Lobster Shack down at the harbour.  They are open every day at the moment 12-4 but later in the year revert to Saturday and Sunday only.

Can highly recommend it.

Crail's a lovely wee classic Scottish fishing town.

Used to fish off the harbour, but never tried the lobster shack.

Seemed to remember it was crazy expensive & even Rick Stein complained.

Only thing I remember about Stein was him saying it was some of the best seafood he’s ever had (pretty sure there’s a YouTube video).

We were £29 for two smallish lobster; £40+ for far smaller dressed version from M&S at Christmas.  I don’t think the prices are too bad.

£100 for a lobster meal isn't good at all mate. That's what he's charging.

Bloody get an AYCE in America for $50.

Sorry, I’m confused.  That’s what who is charging?

I don’t understand this post at all. Also, we’re not in America.

Yeah, that really doesn’t help. He didn’t buy it from Rick Stein.

We were talking about lobsters & prices + Rick Stein crept in.

Not entirely sure what's tripping you up?

I was speaking about what the Lobster Shack in Crail is charging, that has nothing to do with what Rick Stein is charging and not sure why it’s relevant.

Fair enough, I apologise.
