Snow!

Fife Council Twitter is a laugh.
'All Fife schools are closed tomorrow'
Arsehole, 'Are nurseries closed?'
Another arsehole, 'Are the high schools closed?'
Better still are the fuds asking if the colleges are closed, the council has nothing to do with them.

East ren one made for painful reading.

'Does that mean the council will be reimbursing childcare costs?'

Coming from the same boot who'd also moan if her kids had to go to school during a blizzard

Perfect time to get the sledge looked out of the shed...

Making a decision in 15 minutes, imagine they’ll be off. It looks pretty bad where I am.

Fortunately for me I’m just a 10 minute walk away from my work but I imagine there’ll be a few people that stay in the country side snowed in today.

Are you in Arbroath or Dundee? I'm travelling through to Arbroath for work today and it's absolutely hellish in my area up Clatto end in Dundee. There's a good few people from Dundee where I work so if they make it and I just call in, well that'd just be awkward.

Dundee. But it’s the same where I am, wouldn’t fancy being one of the first people to be out driving on my street anyway. Couple of cars stuck on the hill last night [emoji51]

No idea what Arbroath is like unfortunately so can’t help you there.

f**k sake Dundee. I have to get up for work now.

No doubt I'll be the only one in the bloody school

Someone tweet them and ask why Birkhill and Strathmartine. Two Angus schools within 2 mile of where I am going are shut but I still have to get out of bed. I would do it but I'll get sacked.

Gutted for the Dundee schoolies, a snow day was always fucking bliss.

Some proper raging responses to this.

My completely unscientific analysis shows that most of the raging replies are from parents whose profile pictures have one of those animal nose/ears filters applied.

A lot will vote with their feet - they only reinstated the school bus services at 7.30 - clearly the morons in charge don't have families

Announcing last night that there were no school bus services in Dundee means many will either have sent kids to family and friends or, more likely, not bothered setting their alarms as they didn't think they had any way to get to school.
