Fuctifano
It snowed here (North Kelvinside) for about 10 minutes a wee while ago. And the lights here blipped for a fraction of a second too. There's a thought, should I change my name to NorthKelvinsideBear now? Does NK actually exist? I always thought it was for people who didn't want to say they lived in Maryhill...
calum_gers
I live roughly equidistant from Jordanhill and Scotstounhill rail stations OOH ACTUAL SNOW! Edit: sorry, that caught me by surprise! Likewise, just looked out the window and it's flying down!
JackDFC
Also had the split second powercut. Although the xbox didn't go off, just lights.

You've told me where you live, I just can't make it out from my view. I want to go out and 'play' in the snow, although I know I'd regret this and complain about it being freezing. AHHHH!
Ad Lib
Likewise, just looked out the window and it's flying down! It's very drifty to non-existent again. Best measure is how much if any is lying on the ground tomorrow morning. Also had the split second powercut. Although the xbox didn't go off, just lights. As per earlier. Anything with reasonable capacitors should hold charge for a few seconds so ought not to white out from a power cut.

I only read this as KnightswoodBear quoting it. I assumed you meant North Korea. Apt really...

yoda
Are you staying at the Jordanhill Campus at Strathclyde? No I'm on the main campus. The snow is now hammering down (well it would be if it wasn't so light and fluffy).
Smurph
My bed lies parallel to the window, and I made the mistake of leaving my window fully open. I now have snow all over my bed. Granted, it will melt, but it's going to be a soggy night.

The Naitch
Snow been pelting down for the last 45 mins or so in the East End ... winter has definitely arrived!!
djchapsticks
Hmm. Finally have a bit. A bit? It's lying about an inch thick already up the top of the chain road. I hate snow when you live up a steep hill and only have a 1.3 litre engine on the motor.

Heck of a wind now out there but not a massive amount of snow.
