Mrs Salt and Vinegar gets about 2 migranes a year. Full monty, sore head. I very occasionally get what my GP tells me are migraine auras... I get a mild visual disturbance that lasts about 20 mins with no pain at all. It has only really been a problem once. I was driving when I started to be aware of wavy lines across part of my vision, so I parked up and was fine again very quickly. Must confess, the first time it happened it was pretty scary. Hope all is well with you! It’s the first time I’ve had anything like that. I’ve experienced the blurry/wavy lines vision before but it’s never lasted as long as it did this morning.

Won't lie I was absolutely terrified as I have a rather irrational fear of losing my sight. Managed to get an eye appointment that day to have it checked. Even paid an extra £50 to get an additional test done to be sure. Turns out everything was fine and as others have said, the optician reckoned it was a wee migraine.

DiegoDiego
I had patches of wavy lines in my vision once. Felt fine otherwise. Over the course of about half an hour it got worse then completely disappeared. Terrifying few minutes when I thought I was going blind though.

Miguel Sanchez
You know how you get children (physically or mentally) at football with signs asking for shirts? It could, remarkably, be worse

Just some sparkly bits in the field of vision...but the whole migraine thing sounds well worth the pass.
