dave258
My whole body aches afte a fourth visit to the gym in five days. On the plus side though, for some reason my gym bag smells like digestive biscuits, which I quite like.

monkeyblair
My snack of two rolls on mashed up boiled egg were a disaster and have ended up flushed away down The Forth. I now plan on tucking into half a packet of digestives dunked in a large cup of coffee.

Raith Against The Machine
One day when I was in 3rd Year Physics, I was looking out the window (as usual) and saw a seagull eat a rabbit in exactly the same way the dinosaur eats the bloke in the toilet in Jurassic Park, complete with the tossing back of the head to gulp down a big ol' chunk of Peter Rabbit. It was bad ass.
An Sionnach
Should be. I've always had excellent service off Amazon. It hadn't arrived yesterday, so I'm trusting it will arrive this morning. I'm waiting on a couple of things for myself ordered at the same time. I shall be a tad put out if they're not here by Friday at the latest. Anyhoo, I've just noticed that for once I am the only one browsing the GN Forum! YAY! Although given that it's 04:48 and most normal people are still in bed, working hard at the tail end of their night-shift or at work in a different time zone (ie Kiwififer), it's hardly surprising. I'll give bed another go..... -

KiwiDB
As for me, well it's 2 hours to the weekend but that is tempered by the fact that the missus is in Austria this week, a couple of my mates are back in Scotland for the week and the others either seem to be working or just not around. Just me and the whisky tonight then

If you take a route home from the gym that happens to swing past a bakery, you'll get a "Lynx Effect" moment, only with less Lynx and more chins.
Lisa Cuddy
I need to research why Care In The Community is a bad thing. I'll leave you all to decide why I'm on P&B right now.
theentomologist
I need to research why Care In The Community is a bad thing. I'll leave you all to decide why I'm on P&B right now. is this for a debate or an essay? is the question "care in the community is a bad thing" or is it "care in the comminuty is a good thing" and you are opposing? cause they are not the same thing.
Lisa Cuddy
It's a debate. The statement we've been given is "Care In The Community has been positive" or something like that, and I have to disagree with it. I'm tempted to just print out a few threads from here and hand them around.

Lisa Cuddy
I've just met a prime example I can take to college actually. Our new neighbour just knocked on the door, reeking of alcohol and not talking any form of sense that I've ever come across before. I made out that she has 3 daughters and a "grandwean" and she's got her vodka and irn bru, so she's alright. She was a bit concerned about whether or not the old guy that lived there before had died in the house because "I'm intae spirits and aw 'at". Adam: "Aye, I can smell it on you".

Yeah, that's kind of what I was planning on doing. I wasn't asking for help, merely suggesting, in a jocular fashion, that P&B would be a great example. You've ruined it now. Oh, and she was back talking more unintelligible shite. Twice on the first night. We're fucking moving.
GypsyTillIDie
Was planning a quiet Friday night (even contemplated switching my phone off) and in the space of the past half hour I've sent about 50 odd texts, thinking my plans for tomorrow night were cancelled. S'all good now, though.
