Cracking wee car though I was fortunate that it's car that my parents use as well so I think they took out a new insurance policy which included me on it with Swinton (they usually use Swinton for insurance). I think it's down to about £1000 or thereabouts. Initially when I first tried to get insurance on my own I was told that £5000 would be the likely sum It's ridiculous costs and I swear that they just make up some of the car information. I have a neighbour in Inverness whose son-in-law is a mechanic and he bought a Megane. He was told by the insurance company that their records had it as a coupe despite the fact that there was nothing in the car to suggest that it was. I'm genuinely shocked that someone can be this thick. It's not the racist jokes that people are taking issue with. It's the blatant racist comments that are made on the thread, outwith the jokes.
