tree house tam
I won't lie, I'm slightly creeped out: yesterday I found two random rectangular bits of white plastic placed either side of my garage door, which I left and forgot about. This evening I've come home to find both bits on my doorstep, but now stuck together by black tape. WTF??! Lock all windows and doors, get every knife, bat, stun gun, hammer, crossbow, EVERY fuckin tool you have and keep them close, you're fucked !

BFTD
Mind in Skyrim, where the Thieves Guild would mark symbols on properties to indicate there was something inside worth stealing? Happy days. Thankfully that kind of thing doesn't go in, say, Aberdeen.

Happy days. Thankfully that kind of thing doesn't go in, say, Aberdeen. Never got round to joining the Thieves in Skyrim. Currently playing Oblivion "properly" for the first time, and have joined all the guilds I can. I'll admit, the Thieves' missions aren't as much fun as the rest, so I've only done a couple, completed the main quest, and am currently scratching the surface of the Shivering Isles expansion. Choose Life? Naaaahhh....

Choose Life? Naaaahhh.... Really annoyed me that you can't properly f**k up the Guild of Thieves' shit in Skyrim; only ignore their missions and kill a few of them (but not the big bosses). Bunch of arseholes, as Hedgecutter's about to find out. Skyrim's the only one I've actually played, despite owning the others. I tried Oblivion, but lost interest before I'd finished following Patrick Stewart around Still hoping to go back to it at some point, but with Fallout 4 on the horizon...
DA Baracus
If you've played Skyrim then Oblivion will just seem like a poor and irritating version of it. The story is decent enough and the world is large and full of stuff to find, but the combat is awful (the bow is pointless), the character interaction is often irritating, repairing weapons is tedious and the inventory is fiddly. If you'd played it before Skyrim you'd most likely really enjoy it, but Skyrim has ruined it.

Silvio Tattiescone
There's an App for everything - http://protectequalsrespect.com/#!/pageOur Anybody used that one? Basically you ask a lassie/laddie/barnyard animal for a shag whilst filming them with your camera and if they say Aye, you've got video evidence.

Absolutely brilliant when it gets into second gear and beyond.DA: Are you playing on console? because anyone who thinks the PC UI is better, or less "fiddly" than in Oblivion is mental, imho. Repairing is dead simple too. If you just want to complete the game, maybe Skyrim's better. Oh, and combat "awful"? Try using the marksman skill, and your bow use becomes more accurate and effective. Just like any other skill. Edited July 19, 2015 by WhiteRoseKillie
19QOS19
There was a woman in Tesco last night dressed up as that lassie outa Frozen. And when I say woman I mean aged late 50's/early 60's. Sad as f**k. I dunno what's more embarrassing, the fact that a grown woman was dressed up as a Disney character or the fact that they make these costumes in that size!

Xbox. Aye repairing is easy but it's just pointless and tedious. I tried the marksman skill but the bow remained pretty much useless. Skyrim has just ruined Oblivion for me.

Basically you ask a lassie/laddie/barnyard animal for a shag whilst filming them with your camera and if they say Aye, you've got video evidence. "Get your group or team to join" Aside from the factor, that's as pointless as anything else. If someone's going to lie, they can just claim they were strong-armed into having the conversation, or that they changed their mind after the recording. And if it's pointed out that there's a recording that can only be made available to the fuzz, they'll just get their mates to spread it around that you're a BEAST, and it seems like most folk are of the "no smoke without fire" mentality. Not to mention that you could presumably just leave your phone on the nightstand recording the audio of the whole thing anyway, without having to bother with this app. The solution is clearly abstinence ( ), or sex in a public place, preferably somewhere covered by cameras. And an app to post the time and location to P&B
BFTD
Last I heard, folk were modding Morrowind and Oblivion into the Skyrim engine, so maybe I'll just wait the ten years or so until they're finished and play those. Unless Elder Scrolls 6 comes out before then, and they abandon the whole thing to convert Skyrim into that engine Maybe I'll play a bit of Skyrim today. 316 hours in and I still haven't found the "Dah!" part of my "FusRoDah"

Both have websites and forums devoted to them. Have to say, I'd like to play Morrowind with the new engine more than Oblivion, as the latter still looks pretty good.ETA: Trailers for both projects here - Oblivion doesn't need the makeover so much, but Morrowind looks amazing! My mate's trying to tempt me into going for TES Online, but that could be the heroin to the other games' recreational cocaine. DA - the biggest criticism of Skyrim for many, me included, is that the UI looks like a console game. You'll be used to that, no doubt, but it was damn near a deal breaker in the early hours of play for me. Thankfully, I persisted. Also ETA: Currently in Steam - TES4 146 hours, TES5 178. Although I completed Oblivion on a non-steam release a few years ago. Edited July 19, 2015 by WhiteRoseKillie
