Boghead ranter
Retro at the Rock event, scheduled for 18/19 May, which was moved from DFC stadium to Barrowlands a couple of weeks back, has now been cancelled altogether. Organsier (Your Radio) now admitting poor ticket sales, rather than the council not issuing a licence, which was their reason for moving it to Barrowlands in the first place.

YassinMoutaouakil
Bought tickets to see Bloc Party play Silent Alarm in Dublin. Would be a much bigger deal 10 years ago but I'm still buzzing.
Savage Henry
Bought tickets to see Bloc Party play Silent Alarm in Dublin. Would be a much bigger deal 10 years ago but I'm still buzzing. I wonder if they still bring a second drum kit along for one song?
Savage Henry
Got LA Witch at Sleazys on Wednesday, The Secret Sisters at Cottiers on Friday, The Fratellis at the Barras on Saturday, then Sunflower Bean at Stereo on Sunday. Should be a decent bank holiday weekend. New Sunflower Bean is great. Straight up rockers, relative to the first record. Bobby Dylan jr. doesn’t sing lead vocals on any of the new tracks, as far as I can tell.

I reckon they might do it for these shows, but they certainly didn't do it when I seen them last year. EDIT: Definitely considering the Ally Pally show for that btw. I would hope they’ve changed the set list since then.

Unsurprisingly, they're the worst songs on it.

Ira Gaines
Kim Wilde was a lot of fun. Quite a charmer of a venue too.
IainMorton
A few decent gigs coming up - Trivium in 16 days Volbeat beginning of June Queen + Adam Lambert beginning of July Iron Maiden end of July
Ross.
Just bought a couple of Saturday & Sunday tickets for this: Sunday afternoon and evening looks tremendous. Saturday I couldn't care less but the second day justifies the hassle of going that far for a gig...
Miguel Sanchez
I'd love to see Silent Alarm but absolutely not without Matt and Gordon.
GrahamJags
Going to The Rubens at Tuts tomorrow because of the support (Das Plastixx). Know nothing about them, but from the couple of songs I’ve heard on Spotify, they sound garbage. Jessica Lea Mayfield at The Hug & Pint on Sunday as well.
Harry Kinnear
A week on Monday until I see Arcade Fire for the first time. Absolutely cannot wait.
SweeperDee
A week on Monday until I see Arcade Fire for the first time. Absolutely cannot wait. If it’s a setlist like Dublin, I’d probably spiritually ascend.

SweeperDee
That is belting.Ramps up the excitement levels even further [emoji16] Can barely contain myself. I stayed up just to catch people uploading videos of the gig; when I saw their cover of Linger by the Cranberries, I knew they’d be on absolute top form (when are they not?).
