Smurph
The Hedrons at the Greenock Loreto Club, £2 in before 9.30, £3 after that Not bad. I saw them supporting the Sex Pistols a few years ago. Rosie, the bassist (?), is now in a band called GoGoBot. You should check them out. They're pretty good.

I was at that gig as well, thought they were ok, tbh I'm not that into them I'm just going for the cheap booze and perv at some wee punk birds

Hampden Diehard
Saw the Peatbog Faeries as part of the Celtic Connections festival. Good crowd at the ABC in Glasgow and an excellent night. Sorta traditional-Scottish-meets-funk and worth a listen if you've never heard them before.

Sorta traditional-Scottish-meets-funk and worth a listen if you've never heard them before. Seen them a few times, brilliant live. I`m heading to the Arches Saturday night to see Federation Of The Disco Pimps. A nice pre-curser to Ibrox on Sunday.

well fan for life
Worked at Kissy Sellout @ SWG3 last night. The Dixon Brothers and Blonde Ambition were on before and had the place rocking. Then Kissy Sellout came on, rammed the volume up on his mixer to the point where it was actually painful to listen to and folk started leaving. So a good night was ruined by the headline act.

yoda
I went to Rachel Sermanni's gig at St Andrews In The Square tonight. It was very good. Her debut EP sounds like it could be a wee gem of a thing going by the few songs she played from it. There was a nice, fun atmosphere about the place and she sounds better live than she does on recordings. The band was quite good as well. She's a cracking specimen as well My only complaint would be that at times the band was too loud meaning you struggled to hear her singing. A small moan though. Well worth the few quid that it cost. She's playing a wee acoustic "gig" at Love Music on Queen Street (in Glasgow) on Wednesday at around 5:00pm. Might take a wander over if I have nothing else on. yoda
Breathe Easy is absolute quality. It's a cracking tune. I'm a fan of Pablo's City and The Fog. Both are very good songs IMO.
