saints1884
It was Eugene McGuiness in Glasgow, so I assume he supported in Dundee as well. Yeah it was them. Thanks.

gingapar
Alkaline trio at the picture house in edinburgh. it was originally postponed from november last year because Matt Skiba broke his ankle, it now clashes with the hibs game which been shunted to the monday night to keep SKY happy. pain in the arse really, never wanted to split myself in two so much in my life!
NotThePars
The Vaccines played Dundee last night and were on the whole quite a disappointment, much prefer them as a support act although S.C.U.M. sound excellent live. I'll have to check them out at their own show.

Shuggie_Murray7
My mate has a spare ticket going to go and see Faith No More in London in July which I have snapped up. Faith No More may just be my favourite band ever......oh and Mike Patton may just be the coolest motherfucker to ever suck air
NotThePars
Working at the Big Stooshie festival in Fife and caught Glasvegas' set last night. Even though they've lost a lot of the support they gathered from the first album they still put on a good show and I can safely say their Swedish drummer is one very cool lady.

DAFC
Happy Mondays were outstanding on Friday night. Next up, the Charlatans at the Barras in June. Mondays are taking things seriously now. Good to see SR looking better and actually living up to expectations. I like the O2 apart from the toilet facilities. Not really big enough and if you're drinking then you miss quite a bit of the gig queueing up for a piss.

I was really pleased with how good he sounded live, I'd seen videos before and I thought he compared favourably to those. Great night and a really good gig. Completely agree on the toilet front, that's the one flaw with that venue. New Order was pretty good last night but it must be the shitest crowd I've seen at a gig.
NotThePars
Is that the O2 Academy? There was a huge queue at Justice which luckily vanished seconds before the lights went down for the act to come on stage but it's a glaring flaw in an otherwise excellent venue.

I've no idea what the capacity on the floor is but there is literally room for about 10 guys to have a pish at one time.

I was thinking the same. Very quiet at the start, hardly any bouncing however got a bit better towards the end. I even saw folk walking out before the encore. Madness, as anyone with half a brain knew what they'd be playing. The stewards at Usher Hall were also a bunch of interferring auld nags. I thought the band put a decent enough show, Barney epescially seemed fairly up for it.
