BigMartyn86
Saw Deer Tick at stereo in Glasgow last night and they were awesome. Stereo is a good venue as well. The Shivers were also good.
JMDP
Went to Rock en Seine in Paris last weekend and saw full sets of: Get Well Soon, Sigur Ros, Of Monsters and Men, Maximo Park, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Green Day. As well as seeing bits and pieced of: The Shins, Placebo, Bloc Party, Ed Sheeran, Avant Seine All Stars and Little Roy. Sigur Ros were the highlight. An absolutely fantastic set - up there with the best I have ever seen. An excellent festival, would recommend to anyone ever thinking of going to it. bunglebonce
Sigur Ros, SECC 02/03/13. £68 for two tickets hurts, but I've been wanting to see them for a long, long time and circumstances have always got in the way.

Quite fancied this but SECC... really? I didn't think they were that big. Will need to mull this one over

NotThePars
Got tickets over the last week for the courteeners at manchester, with the view supporting and pete doherty at the abc. Anyone been to the MEN arena? is it as bad as the secc My first gig was the MEN Arena back in 2008 and from what I remember it's much better than the SECC. Seems more geared towards gigs and the standing was pretty good for a large place. Two pits and a general standing from what I recall.
