uberman
Going to see George Clinton at The Arches on November 4th! This year of gigs gets better and better To see a guy like that at a venue that size should be amazing Is he Dj'ing or playing with a band Colin? I saw the P-Funk Allstars 10 years ago and they were outstanding, in the same weekend I also saw WAR and Bootsy Collins Rubber band, that was one funky weekend!I'll be there also bumped for the attention of Colin M B)
Ritchie Sacramento
I presume 'WOOT' is some sort of term to show your displeasure?I saw The Twang supporting James in May before I'd ever heard of them or heard them and they were possibly the worst livew band I've ever seen. Their recorded stuff ins't exactly my thing but its a big improvement. The Twang are at the Ironworks on Hogmanay

Colin M
bumped for the attention of Colin M B) Oops! It's a live gig I think, billed with The Funk Brothers. Not sure who they are, I'm assuming it's not the Motown backing band. Actually from reading this link, it sounds like it is! FilthyMack
I think the Raigmore gig's sold out, but I might know a man who'll be in the Fluke beforehand that has a spare ticket at £9 if you want it.

A man in the Fluke bearing gifts? Sounds saucy. Thanks anyway but i've promised a mate i'd go to the Irownworks. Enjoy the gig.
FilthyMack
No worries mun. It'll be interesting to see actually what sort of effect a sold out gig in the Raigmore might have on the crowd for a band with a similar and well established fanbase at the Ironworks. I'm sure it'll be cracking anyway as Idlewild normally are. I notice also that Electric Eel Shock are playing the Ironworks in November, with a Guitar Hero tournament on!
