itzdrk
Tweeted something really mundane to a girl who I don't know but is a friend of a friend. She has over 200 followers but said she had been tweeted by a strange old guy (old?). I apologised and said I would unfollow her which I did. Now she has spoken to the mutual friend and tweeted me saying it's ok now but she was a bit scared at the time. I told her to make her account private to save future embarrassment, she replied "ok dear" wtf? For those interested she tweeted that she had to take her trousers up because she had short legs. I said it was the curse of our generation. Creepy fucker. beast

Bert Raccoon
Magee must have as many aliases on twitter as he has had on here. 'Kates Foetus' being his new project. Is that him as well? Tragic. You'd think he'd be too busy enough begging for business to set up a shite fake account.
Thundermonkey
https://twitter.com/Dav_Cumming I have zero to say about f**k all. Worth a follow
Adam
There's no chance that Kates Foetus is Magee, they are using proper punctuation and grammar.
Jimmy85
There's no chance that Kates Foetus is Magee, they are using proper punctuation and grammar. You'll notice that the tweets from 'Kate's Foetus' have only been retweeted by Magee and 'The Raging ***'. TRH which coincidently is also Magee. Edit: it appears the account I was refering to has been deleted now anyway. Edited December 8, 2012 by Jimmy85
philpy
This was tweeted by a friend last night. The lad plays for the Belfast giants ice hockey team and took a skate to the face. https://mobile.twitter.com/peaks71/status/277554141327400960/photo/1

xbl
I got a twitter account a few months back, and tried to get into it, but I just can't seem to get in the habit of it, and I don't get the fun of it. I guess Twitter isn't for me.
Desert Nomad
I got a twitter account a few months back, and tried to get into it, but I just can't seem to get in the habit of it, and I don't get the fun of it. I guess Twitter isn't for me. It's actually pretty good if you follow most of the folks on P&B and a few news, football reporters. Don't follow any celebrities or footballers, and don't whine when somebody tweets something you don't like.

Don't follow any celebrities or footballers, and don't whine when somebody tweets something you don't like. Without seeming disrespectful, why would I do that? This isn't having a go, I mean lots of people clearly use twitter (including many of my friends), and on occasion, I've googled it if I want to see breaking news (it was handy during the Rangers news), but I find most of the stuff to be a bit vacuous and empty, and I find the character limit precludes discussion. If there is something I want the opinion of famous people, then I'd rather read a detailed blog! Likewise, I don't really see why I'd follow most of p&b... This isn't having a go or anything like that, I just don't see why it is any better than alternatives that already exist, and god knows I've tried to get into it!
t1t3h
If I'm not at a game, Twitter can be excellent between 2:30 and 6 o'clock on a Saturday. Most people from P&B will be talking about the games they are at, plus getting news from all the games from around Scotland, England and some European leagues by fans and journalists. It works brilliantly alongside Soccer Saturday on the TV because you can get extra info on Twitter about games that you have a bet on or if you follow a lower league team etc. That's the main reason I follow most people from P&B on Twitter xbl but I understand where you are coming from. Jimmy85
Yeah I sort of use it like an extension of P&B rather than a completely different tool altogether. It's like another wee section of the site. You only have to read the opinion of those you want to and it's all condesended into a timeline so you don't have to go trawling around.

Denji
Noticed a few football fans following me on Twitter, so I assume they've come from this thread. I've actually got two Twitter accounts: @rdeego and @ryandeegan The first is where I just talk a power of shite, the second is where I talk about web designy stuff.
AsdaLoyal
Robert Florence from burnistoun tweeted me earlier saying , thanks for picking it up man when I posted a picture of the box set I'd bought. Thing is I didn't tweet him I just hashtagged it burnistoun so he must check it everyday !
