Nothing will beat that specky guy who used to play poker in that club down the Romanian guys poker club (forget his name too) and the Reillys Tourneys, the taxi driver can't mind his name. He was in a 4 way hand everyone checks he goes all in. No one calls.

He shows a royal flush ahhaha. I think his name was Fin, looked like Ned Flanders.

Finn was indeed his name. He wasn’t well a while back. Big burgers caught Bogdan the other day in the taxi. Still a dafty

Nothing in these threads would be anything to the Chinese lads in the casino who treat poker like flipping a coin. Just call everything and maybe they have best hand maybe they don't.

I don't think they even look at their hole cards

I love it when poker players get beat by a rank amateur. The sense of entitlement is enormous.

I have won plenty of games with mates and been placed top 5 in a good few live tourneys with 50+ players. However I wouldn't have a clue about percentages or anything like that. The amount of abuse I have gotten from lads saying things like what are you playing that for? Or i should have done this. I love that side of it.

They're great fun in the bookies roulette machines too. Just swat away at the screen indiscriminately and hammer 'Play'.

Great fun when they go batshit and storm out.

Special mention to the guys who commandeer two/three machines at once.

Why have Lidl never adapted the glorious Oasis - Little by Little into their adverts for their own produce only changing the words slightly to Lidl by Lidl?

I was in a Ladbrokes on Paisley Road West where the punters in the shop basically forced a Chinese fellow to print out a receipt for his winnings, after being 6 grand up but still repeatedly playing £330 spins. They genuinely don’t seem to care.

I’ve also been in casinos where Chinese guys have been playing 3 or 4 roulette tables at the same time, losing ridiculous sums of money in a ridiculously short space of time.

Mostly the older guys who own cash only takeaways at the casinos in Glasgow at night. Ive seen them lose some vast sums of money, ive never seen anyone cashing out massive amounts either?

I was at the Alea one night during Chinese New Year, and a crowd of Chinese guys (young and old) were playing a game called Banco, which I think is an Asian variation of Baccarat. The dealer would throw two cards and they would all shout ‘Banco Banco Banco’, with most of them losing 4 figure sums each hand.

I dont go to the casino often, really just play blackjack or roulette in vegas or whatever, but i went a fair bit when i was a student, passed the time whilst the taxi queue was going down and you’d get free toasties, I never really won much but didnt lose much either, but any time I’d be in the ones on Sauchiehall street, they’d be absolutely rammed, the one beside the garage has a mahjong room and the dealer was saying thats where they really make their money.
