I'm watching it just now, rattled through the first season but I have a few issues, that mainly revolve around the zombie genre tbf rather than the show.

What's the direction of the show? They've made it clear in the first season a cure isn't going to be found, as such what do they do and where do they go? bumping from one camp to another gradually losing people? I'd imagine there is more to the show but that would eventually get boring after 5 seasons. The show in itself has been good, really good first season, couple of points though.

  • Carl is really irritating, a right little cock. Same with the other small child, hopefully soon to die.
  • Lori is similarly irritating, I'd imagine she'll probably be up the duff or something with Shanes child etc
  • Blonde haired one? the older sister? hopefully she dies.
  • Daryl is a cracking character, my favourite.
  • Shane is decent, adds a good dynamic
  • Ricks decent
  • Carol is boring, about boked when she said about missing her vibrator.

Something I've been discussing with the wife is what he got told leaving the lab, I reckon it's that everyone in the world is actually infected, wife made a good point when she asked me if you needed to be bitten to turn into a walker and I realised that wasn't the case, the guy that hung himself hadn't been bitten and the Walkers seem to eat everything that's alive, they'd end up wiping themselves out. Also he was working on something and it can't have been something to turn the Walkers back, it wouldn't work. Had to be something to stop people turning into them. A book I read had something similar, they gave everyone a cure for cancer but turned them all into zombies when they died.

Not sure where they go with the rest of season two, I'd imagine what he got told will come out eventually, Rick might find out about Shane and Lori, Carl has just apparently had life saving surgery which is disappointing and I'd imagine they'll find another base etc, possibly find out what started it all? Somone in the group will probably die. If it's the black guy, the korean guy, Rick, Shane or Daryl i'll be gutted.

A lot of people didn't like season 2 by the way (I loved it though) so id advise you to stick with it even if season 2 doesn't thrill you

Season 2 was good but I seshed it and got right into it. Week to week would've been shite though.

Anyone watched Z Nation yet? Watched about 10 seconds the other day and the zombies way to fast for my liking.

I watched from the start all the way to season 4 in about 3 weeks, I was proper hooked. I thought season 2 was good too.

That's what I did.

It's provided my most memorable moment watching it so far. You know the scene I'm on about, the big one in season 2, I watched that at my girlfriends flat when she was on nightshift in merchant city casino. Sat in a flat a street away from the Clutha when that scene played out. Moment I'll never ever forget.

When it starts up again I'm tempted to build them up and just watch them all at the once. Watching things continuously is the way to do it. 8)

I still can't make up my mind whether I like this or not. I watched the first few episodes, but never really got into it. Came back a while later and watched through to the end of series 3, watched the first episode of Series 4, which was kinda everything I hate about the program and rubbered it again. I decided to give it another go and have sorta binge watched up to the current point over the last couple of weeks.

There's a lot of problems with it in terms of my enjoyment that I can't quite put my finger on, but then there's also some absolutely mental stuff that happens, which kind of make it worth watching. It's a strange one, because normally if you've watched 4.5 series of a program you'd consider yourself a fan, but I dont really.

Like all series, me and the good lady do them in a marathon, usually 3 episodes a night effort. BB, SoA(just started season 4) and OitNB.

This will be the first time we've sat down once a week. Not sure how that's going to feel.

Sky deleted s1 to s3 of TWD before I had time to download s3, we were in a fckin state til she found a friend who had it on a USB. That was a long 5 days let me tell you!

Edit: maybe that's just the effect TWD had, because we survived no bother watching Musketeers, Ripper Street, Wentworth, Under The Dome and Alcatraz no bother, once a week.
