Russ
So we won. Cool. But the performance, tactics, style of play and substitutions are still a mile off where we need to be and if it wasn’t for a bit of quality from Griffiths then it would’ve been more points dropped.Thought the first half we were actually ok. We were at least better with the ball and going forward but still dreadful defensively. Thought the shape helped us a lot better with the kind of unorthodox 4-4-2 with Jacobs playing the very Tow Taiwo like role on the right of midfield. It helped get Craig McGuffie get bigger up the park who was our best player today. To then change the shape and go back to the 5 at the back at half time was mental. Made absolutely no sense and it showed as we created absolutely nothing and still looked nervy as f**k at the back. The first 2 subs like for like but were fair enough but the last one holy f**k. Seb Ross for McGuffie so he could change shape again with Nesbitt moving left and Ross playing as a ‘10’ but he could’ve done that without the change and to take off McGuffie who was quite clearly our best player was just monumentally stupid. Why Griffiths hasn’t been taking our set pieces is a mystery. What a corner that was, into the perfect area and we were helped by East Fife just not marking Paul Watson. He should be taking every corner and free kick going forward. His link up play is actually quite good he find good deep positions and keeps the ball well but he’s not get the legs to get forward after that.Keaghan Jacobs was absolutely dugmeat today just kept losing the ball time after time and was deservedly hooked after an hour. Dowds hold up play was totally non existent the ball would bounce off him or he’d just lose it. Dixon is done. He couldn’t give a single f**k with that performance today.
Harry Kinnear
Take the result but it was a hard watch. Too many players not showing desire and fight. Couldn’t believe he took McGuffie off who was our best player and didn’t look at all fatigued, strange decision to say the least.
Guest Ecosse83
3 points despite Rennies best attempts to f**k it up. He really does make some baffling in game decisions!

Griffith's has taken the corners at Celtic for years so why the feck has it taken so long to get him on ours?

Bigbri Bairn
Horrible performance as usual but at least we scrapped a win. Those who said LG was a waste of money should look at his performance today. Dowds a bit out of sorts but we have all been told he is EF through and through. Need Jaze back and quick
Tea and Busquets
Griffiths got us out of that today. A great corner and super header from Watson. A soft penalty? Yes 100% but still a penalty by the rule book. Taking the full 90 minutes and not the last 6, we were again dreadful. The substitutions themselves were abysmal. Rennie takes off our best player on the day, why? He then has to change the left back so instead of bringing on last year’s left back of the year who can get forward he brings on 36(?) year old Dixon. WTF ? Dare I say it Sammy should have been on because although he’s hopeless his pace would have made East Fife drop deeper. No one was attempting to get in behind and push them back. The starting shape was so unbalanced. We had a left midfielder so had so much width on the left but nothing on the right. Our right back was trying to get forward but the left back was incapable of passing the half way line. Absolute murder. Play like that against Airdrie next time and we lose, convincingly. Fawkirk Wull
Total crap today (again).Griffiths glaring in disbelief @ Rennie subbing Mcguffie was the highlight for me. Probably his best game for us today. Thought Jevons done OK the rest, looks like a total clearout again

kiddy
That was a complete struggle. 2 bits of play from Griffiths, secured the 3 points. In a completely abject display. They're going nowhere this season.

Dawson Park Boy
Terrible performance today. Never want to see Miller, Sinclair, Dixon or Jacobs again. Although he started tentatively, I thought Mills came on to a really good game.

Tea and Busquets
On a positive note, it was great to have so many young footballers in the North Stand to provide a bit of atmosphere.

He hadn't won a challenge the whole game & only his goal set him apart from the other 3 in the middle. It was Hobsons choice, any 1 from the 4 in the middle, that could've got hooked. They were all shan.
