Would rather we’d got someone else in, but he did ok in that role two seasons ago when he played there quite a lot. I’d also have Miller and Agyeman out wide on their natural sides. For me, Miller is a much better option than Ross and isn’t anywhere near as effective on the right. Agreed, and I think that's the way he'll go. I'd be tempted to play McCann as well as I think he combines better with Miller. Mackie and Miller weren't on the same wavelength in the 1st half at Airdrie.
Harry Kinnear
Oliver starts up front, Nesbitt in from the start, Alfie on the bench.

They noticeably weren't, but they had a very good second half. Is Miller going to be on the right again today though with Ross playing? I hope not. Miller the more productive player so I'd be tempted to do the shoehorning with Ross tbh. Who I also think maybe does a better job of dipping inside anyway.
roman_bairn
Based on the first 20 minutes it looks like Gary Oliver is turning into the missing link to replace Ross MacIver……
Tea and Busquets
If it had been 2 or 3 Ayr could have no complaints at all. Really hope Ross’ and Miller’s chances don’t bite us on the arse. Oliver has done really well.

18BAIRN76
We were absolutely superb today. You can see Oliver might not have that killer instinct but he links the play brilliantly. Best way to bounce back from last week.

deano25ffc
Spencer and Tait pinging the ball about the park for shits and Giggs should be illegal . 2 of them played some disgusting balls across the park today . What a team Edited 20 hours ago by deano25ffc

falkirkzombie
Was expecting a much harder game than that. Certainly not worried about Ayr finishing above us this season. Let's see what Livi are like on Tuesday.

HonestAl
Really solid back 4 today , with an excellent keeper, gives the rest of the side lots of confidence. Keelan Adams & Luke Graham are tremendous prospects - each time I see Adams he improves and so wish Luke was our own. Still , what a defender to enjoy this season. Fantastic to see Nesbitt back. Tait made some great excellent passes to open up Ayr and Ross & Miller were very good. I did feel we missed MacIver. Oliver was okay though. Livi on Tuesday could be our toughest task of the first quarter.
FFC 1876
The Luke Graham cruyff turn on the touchline summed his performance up today, sublime. Another excellent addition to the squad. Dominated the game without ever really getting out of second gear, fought for every ball and it got that easy we decided to challenge eachother for it. What a difference Aidan Nesbitt makes too, he's everywhere.

Bairney The Dinosaur
Happy with Oliver as a backup for MacIver. His game is a bit different, but gives us enough of the hold up play that we need. We were decent today and you know there are still gears for us to get through when needed.
GMBairn
Great result. Delighted to have nesbitt back, didn't think he would last the full 90 but he just breezed though that game after not starting for about 2 months. Hopefully he's fit enough to do the same again on Tuesday. Oliver did well up front and Ross clinical with his 2 goals. Graham also looks a player, just dominated the Ayr forwards and has slotted into our system like he's been here for ages. Only criticism would be that we could have had more goals if we'd just taken more shots. Ayr a big strong, hard working side but offered nothing beyond that, the much lauded Rus and Watret produced nothing today.
GunnerBairn
Wow. If that was one of our main title challengers then I'm not too fussed at all, as I thought Ayr were poor and offered very little with Hogarth not really tested. We on the other hand carried on as if last week's loss never happened! Took a firm grip of the game early and controlled the game throughout. Delighted for Ethan getting a brace, and could've / should've got his hatrick with less hesitation in front of goal. Subs looked keen to get involved and every player wants to play their part and the squad depth is beginning to pay dividends. Special mention to NIzzy, what a difference that lad makes when he's playing, always available and bundle of energy. Also a mention to the lad Graham, won everything thrown at him and fancies a run with the ball too. Great squad game today. Morrison set to return on tuesday too This league's there for the taking and we're in a helluva position to potentially take control at the top. Can't wait til tuesday now, bring on Livvy. We adapted our game really well and didn’t go as direct at times without MacIver which just played into Oliver’s strengths.
