Crawford Baptie
One thing we don't have is a balanced side. Due to Sinnamon and Duffie being injured we have played a centre half and holding midfielder there. Add to that playing Sibbald who's best position is behind the strikers and Alston likewise on the left when we have Cooper who is a natural fit there. Unfortunately he ain't too good so we are stuck with what we have.
Marshmallo
That's due to Houston signing shite in those positions. Same as last year we're always a couple of injuries away from a crisis at any point since so many of the signings have been dross. -
MrDust
Okay, lets just leave it at that then shall we. The big boys will appraise the quarter like adults while you carry on with the internet equivalent of running around with your fingers in your ears going "na na na na na"Didn't know our quarter consists of 8 games and queens 9....4 more games than us over the season....well I never

I'll agree with you about the left, but Duffie was injured during pre season and the Rangers lad was injured in training.

It was that point he was responding to. Do you really all need to be quite so stupid about it whenever someone who's not a Falkirk fan, pipes up?

hope street
http://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/match/11402/ The sun shone over the Falkirk Stadium as the Bairns took to the field to face Ross County in the SPFL Development League. For those who attended it was an enjoyable afternoon’s entertainment watching the Bairns put six past their Highland opponents. It took just two minutes for Alan Maybury’s team to open the scoring. Thomas Grant released KEVIN O’HARA through on goal with the young striker showing good composure to slot the ball past Mark Foden in the County goal. Falkirk continued to push forward and look for a second. With five minutes played Alex Cooper played a dangerous corner into the box which County failed to clear. The ball eventually fell to Kevin O’Hara whose dipping volley landed just wide of the target. Falkirk’s dominance shone through as they doubled their advantage with fifteen minutes played. Alex Cooper did extremely well to release Tony Gallacher down the left whose dangerous ball across the face of goal was fired into the roof of the net by KEVIN O’HARA. With every attack the Bairns were looking dangerous. Alex Cooper fired a freekick onto the top of the net before Scott Shepherd got clear and drilled a powerful strike straight into the arms of FODEN. Despite County playing some dangerous balls into the box they failed to really threaten as the Falkirk defence held firm. Just over half an hour played and the Bairns made it 3-0. Cameron Blues was fouled as he attempted to shoot with referee Scott Millar in no hesitation to give the free kick. Thomas Grant stepped up to hit a perfectly placed strike into the top corner before being mobbed by his team mates who were quick to admire the fantastic strike. That was how the half finished with the Bairns in control from first minute to last. Alan Maybury would have been looking for more of the same from his side in the second half with goals being the main objective. HALF TIME: FALKIRK 3-0 ROSS COUNTY The second half continued as the first ended with Falkirk looking dangerous on the attack. Following a Ross County corner Kevin O’Hara fed in Thomas Grant who, after a bursting run forward, played a diagonal cross back into the path of the young striker whose scuffed volley went wide of the target. There was no let up for County as Scott Shepherd did really well to get the better of Darren Holden before sidefooting an effort just wide from an extremely tight angle. Tony Gallacher was having a fantastic game at left back with the youngster consistently getting forward and playing dangerous balls into the box. He was the architect as Falkirk grabbed their fourth of the afternoon. ALEX COOPER had the simplest of tasks to knock Gallacher’s low ball into the back of the net and send the Bairns into easy street. The game could only be described as sheer dominance for Falkirk and they had several further chances to extend their lead. Cameron Blues had a strike from the edge of the box deflected for a corner, Liam Dick had a header from a corner cleared off the line and Alex Cooper also had a shot which was also deflected for a corner. There really were no failures out on the pitch for Falkirk with every player putting in a good showing. Alex Cooper in particular caused a lot of problems and after scoring number four he was the creator of number five. His whipped corner was swept home with aplomb by LIAM DICK who got deserved his goal after an impressive performance. It took just seconds for the Bairns to make it six with again Tony Gallacher the provider as he cut back for SCOTT SHEPHERD who finished past Mark Foden. In the closing stages County hit the post through Darren Holden with again the Bairns continuing to look dangerous as they went forward. A great afternoon’s work for Alan Maybury’s side who record back to back wins for the first time this season. FULL TIME: FALKIRK 6-0 ROSS COUNTY FALKIRK: Bowman, Sinnamon (Finlayson 82), Gallacher, Blues, Dick, Johnson, Grant, Blair, Shepherd, O’Hara (Small 67), Cooper (Langton 75) Subs not used: Erskine, Fagan, Stowe, Evans ROSS COUNTY: Foden, Miller, Holden, McLaughlin, Ross, McShane, Moffat, Beeston, Morrison, Schalk, Dingwall SUBS: Tait, Dingwall, Morrison, McLennan, Malcolm, MacIver
