Deeboy
Go checks odds checker yourself. I assume you know how to? Where are you seeing the odds? As far as I can see they're only showing w/o Rangers, which Falkirk are sitting at 8/15 for.
Guest
I saw we were 9/4 to win promotion on there the other day. Can't remember who the bookie was. I thought it was a bit skinny the price TBH
Deeboy
I've had a quick look, Paddy's/365 both only offer w/o Rangers. McBookie haven't even got a market by the looks of it. Was it an independent bookie you seen it in? (I do agree 9/4 is a bit thin btw).
lanky_ffc
McBookie/BetVictor did have a w/o Rangers market and had us at a fairly generous 5/4 when I posted in the 'Free Money' thread on 20th March (we were 6 ahead and had played 30 compared with 28 for Hibs).
Rugster
St Johnstone have now confirmed they've offered Alston a contract.
Believe The Hype
please excuse what is probably complete ignorance here, but can a team offer this to a player still under contract at another club outwith any windows ? I get that he is out of contract at the end of the season but until then are offers allowed to be made whilst he is still our player ?

You can speak to a player within 6 months of the end of his contract.

Hopefully any speculation or on goings regarding what he is doing next season won't effect his performances until then. Unless it's for the better of course.
Shadwell Dog
I'd be surprised if he did anything at this stage with only a couple of weeks to go till the end of the season and us still having a chance of promotion. No point in moving to Perth if we were to go up and there could be other more interesting offers on the table during the close season due to his current good form.

NavyBlueArmy1876
9/4 is pretty generous for promotion imo Have the bookies finally started taking us seriously?
Shadwell Dog
No surprise that even though we've had an excellent season none of our boys have been nominated for championship player of the year. Whilst its hard to argue on 3 of them Lee Wallace has been piss poor every time I've seen him this year when a player of his so called calibre should be sticking out like a sore thumb in every game.

Shadwell Dog
He should be a cut above everyone in this league but hes been pretty poor against us in the 4 games bar the opening 20 mins of the last game.
Guest
9/4 is pretty generous for promotion imo Have the bookies finally started taking us seriously? Not for me it isnt especially after last night's result means 2nd is still very much in the balance and that their is a Premiership team to play too. I would have Kilmarnock as the shortest price now then Hibs, then Hamilton then us with Raith as the outsiders to be in the Premiership next season.

For me Wallace was a certainty as was Waghorn. The two Hibs players have been average since Christmas especially McGinn. Such a pity Grant got injured as he would have been in there for sure. Surprised Vaulks is not involved.
ToonBairn
Mark Kerr can also be added to the list of ones unfortunate not to make shortlist. Player of the year for us IMO. However, these awards are always "big club" dominated
The Grass Is Greener.
Who are these players nominated by? The players?
Senor Bairn
Don't really think anyone has been a standout for us, which says something about the team. It would have probably been Grant if he wasn't injured. But not really anyone has stood out imho
