AUFC90
My first thought when Drogon got a massive bolt stuck in it last season was.....ARMOUR. Why all the bestest and most brilliant minds in Westeros can't figure that out is beyond me.
DA Baracus
Armour won't stop those bolts. Plus armour would surely restrict how a dragon could fly, if not restricting flight altogether. So actually armour on a dragon is daft and makes no sense.
kiddy
Those bolts only work, if a scale has been dislodged. It took a bullseye shot to take down Smaug in the Hobbit! Think word would have got round in Dragonlore by now?Sent from my XT1039 using Tapatalk

Seemed to mabage just fine pulling 200 wights into the sky

When was it made? How do they get on to the dragon? How can Danaerys then ride the dragon? Do they sculpt a wee seat in this magical armour?
DA Baracus
Anyway, leaving aside talk of dragon armour (fucking hell, we're actually debating dragon armour ), who is/was the most stupid character? There's a big list. Shae, Stannis, Selyse, Robb, Ned, Cersei Sansa, Danaerys and Lysa are all up there.
Stellaboz
Gendry would. He's the show blacksmith.
M0rtonfc
Put it this way, something mental has to happen, there is no way they’ll just have the last dragon attack the ships at a different angle and wipe them out, the build up to it would be pretty pointless really! Also I very much doubt they would show you a clip in the trailer of Euron’s facial expression changing if it was that dragon attacking when he’s been sitting waiting on it anyway, if anything he would have a big cheeser on his face!

Stannis was one of the best battle commanders of his time and would have wiped the floor with the two gormless Targaryens in a fair fight. His issue was that he could never inspire support from other factions for his claim. His wee brother on the other hand was a total moron.

Stannis is on the list for being daft enough to march on Winterfell in horrible conditions which saw much of his cavalry and army die or f**k off. He then compounded that by burning his daughter, resulting in loads more of his army leaving and the near total decimation of his cavalry. He put far too much trust in Melissandre and listened to her over his own instincts and sense.
vikingTON
What was the alternative to marching on Winterfell - wait for both winter proper an an army of the dead to wipe them out on the wall instead? He nearly took King’s Landing and then decided that dealing with the wildling threat was more important than anything in the south. That’s the decision that cost him whatever he had and it was the right thing to do as a ‘king’. Couldn’t give a toss about his daughter tbh.
UpInTheAyr
Mace Tyrell for most stupid character, total buffoon of a man. Would say early season Sansa although maybe more naivety than stupidity. Her bit last episode about not regretting what she went through because it made her who she is(or something along those lines) was a bit odd considering she was raped and tortured
