Sir Peh McBridie
Spoilt by poor attempts at humour and strange music but enjoyed it. Can't beat a bit of Dalek destruction for entertainment.
Bully Wee Villa
That was much more like it.
The Naitch
Always difficult to take the Daleks seriously but that was a really enjoyable episode.
Guest Jedi
Thought it was much better than the series had been as well. Good interaction between Graeme, Ryan and his dad. As others have said, wanted to like Jodie as the Doctor, but just not convinced...Bradley Walsh has been excellent, Tosin Cole generally quite good, other than that..

renton
When the Dalek creature was attached to her back and actually calling her it's puppet, I thought I could hear the distant sounds of Robert Heinlein's estate ringing their lawyers....

Heinlein's lawyers would be as rich as Bill Gates if they sued everybody who pinched paid homage to one of his ideas.

There is obviously always a degree of overlap in ideas, that one just felt a little on the nose.

KnightswoodBear
Watched the New Year episode last night. I thought it was generally better than the rest of the series, and I liked the scrapyard Dalek, even if they did dispatch it very easily with their Checkov's microwave. I've given Jodie Whittaker the whole series and the New Year episode, and I really want to like her as the Doctor, but I just don't think that it works, unfortunately. What I found myself thinking increasingly is that Bradley Walsh would have been great in the role.
scottsdad
At home for the past month or so, I have watched the late Matt Smith and all the Peter Capaldi episodes that are in Netflix. My thoughts, second time round: Capaldi played the part brilliantly. Very alien. I get why some of the new fans didn't like him (old Scottish guy versus younger, more handsome types). Capaldi's run was really hamstrung by some god-awful episodes early on (Robot of Sherwood, Kill the Moon) Jenna Coleman (wid) was in the show too long, and was starting to grate. Big up-swing in quality after the first series. Bill Potts was a fantastic companion as she was the first since Rose Tyler to be just ordinary. Nardole, also - very good. But the main thing for me was that I fell utterly in love with...

She's married to the guy who played the lead role in Coupling. Can you imagine his life back then? During the day, acting opposite Sarah Alexander, then going home to Michelle Gomez?

Bully Wee Villa
Enjoyed that. Has the potential to be her best story by some distance if the second part is any good. Best avoid spoilers if you haven't seen it yet.
killieshire
Other than the bit of the motorbikes a very enjoyable start to the new series. Nice that they felt confident enough in the characters to jump straight into that.
Guest Jedi
Fast paced start certainly. Thought the Bond pastiche worked okay, though was possibly a bit overcooked at points (probably best in the casino scene). Lenny Henry was good. Interesting to see where the spy aliens go next after. Good 'reveal' at the end.
