Jinty62
Thank - You for asking but I am neither Thank EFF I help run a teeny weeny extremely small business - and I am just awestruck at the audacity of Mr Whyte and SDM
Forest_Fifer
Indeed. We even know his best position and would actually play him there. Anyway, another debate for another day. Are they dead yet? Have Duff & Phelps done anything? Is Whyte still a stand up guy? Nothing again tonight on Scotland Tonight or Newsnight Scotland... Not a dicky bird, after being all over it like an Edinburgh Zoo panda in heat last week too. Time for a bit of late-night listening, 'Los Endos' from Genesis' 'Trick of the Tail' album ought to do it. I ws thinking more of a bit of Alter Bridge - "Slip to the Void" or "All Hope is Gone" maybe
Jinty62
My prediction is this after a lot of fafffing about and the loss of innocent jobs: The Liquidation of RFC and RFC are no longer liable for any debt to HMRC or anyone except the secured creditor (s). Mr Whyte is "owed" 18 million as the secured creditor Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park are valued at less than 18 million - Mr Whyte now owns Rangers "History" A "Blue Knight" then come along and rescues (buys) Rangers 'History" from Craig Whyte - I reckon about 30 million he's off to Monaco and Bobs your auntie...
calum_gers
Getting Gordon Smith to go by the end of the month. The right answer on behalf of the creditors is 'right Gordon clear your desk, you are finished here', Why did they extend his employment past the 14 day threshold and incur extra liabilities? And as for Durrant. Why do they need so many hangers on. All they have to do it get a SPL team on the park till the end of the season. 20 fit players and half a dozen other staff, and get the others out. They didn't. All wages were paid until the end of February last tuesday. Today's the last day of February and Smith is gone. Durrant is the first team coach, most team's have a first team coach and an assistant manager, but i'd imagine a few coaches will go. Out of interest, how many full time staff do Rangers have? I mean, there can't really be that many that work at Ibrox apart from the players, coaches and groundstaff? 177 is right and it's 300+ including matchday staff. A wee tweet that caught the attention tonight " The Scotsman thinks six will go from Papac, Alexander, McCulloch, Edu, Lafferty, Broadfoot, Fleck and Hemmings" Papac, Alexander are certainties i'd say. Papac is out of contract and we don't really need an expensive backup keeper. Edu has 18 months to run on his contract, I'd like to think he'd stay, but if Rangers really can't afford him, you never know. McCulloch has offered to take a pay-cut so i would imagine he'll stay. Hemmings is at Ayr already? This will be like going to sleep, well trying to, on Christmas eve. Santa bring the sack No he isn't. He came on at the weekend.
topcat(The most tip top)
Been thinking about all the other famous "March's". There's been The Wedding March, Middlemarch, March of the Valkyries, even March of the Swivelheads. I'm sure there are more. Well Duff & Phelps could just be about to make this March, March 2012, be the best of the fucking lot. Starting tomorrow. Do it lads. You know it makes sense. It's the Ride of the Valkyries. The shield maiden in question were astride winged steeds. Also the Wagner wrote it in 9/8 time so even on foot it would be more of a Waltz Edited March 1, 2012 by topcat(The most tip top)

nijmegen bairn
The knock on affect has started Dunfermline due 80,000 for tickets sold in good faith to Rangers have not been able to pay all their wages for February. They should now throw the book at Rangers for this and all other clubs should sell tickets for their home games themselves. This coming from a Falkirk fan never in my life did I think I would stand side by side with a fifer on any topic in life but there you go.

mighty meadow
I imagine they'll release the guys who are out of contract at the end of the season - they effectively have no value and are just draining resources. I think the rest of them will be safe as fees earned in summer would probably outweigh the cost in wages. But I suspect one from Durrant or McDowell will have to go, there seems little justification for keeping two senior assistants. Reckon tomorrow will be the day, if not then Friday. But if it drags on to next week it either suggests the finances are so shambolic the admin guys still have no idea what the true state of affairs is or they're so knackered that cutting a few contracts makes little difference en route to liquidation - I think in this case, bizarrely, no news is actually bad news for Rangers fans. Ric
Some light reading material over your toast and coffee.. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/2012/03/01/rangers-in-crisis-11-ibrox-players-set-to-be-axed-as-administrators-begin-savage-cuts-86908-23770531/ An entire team of 11 Rangers players will be axed this morning. But those who survive the cull will also suffer savage cuts. Record Sport can reveal the players who avoid the chop will have their wages slashed by half. It’s believed all the players agreed to the pay cut in advance of the hitlist being drawn up to avoid even more heads being put on the chopping block. It is also understood manager Ally McCoist will demand his own salary be reduced dramatically but club sources stressed last night that he was struggling to come to terms with the numbers. The cuts are much more swingeing than he or anyone else had thought and by the time all the players on the list have been tapped on their shoulders, today will go down as one of the blackest in the club’s long history.
alimci
Don't believe it will be 11 first team players, but couldn't they have done this last week before we played them?
