MarkYardley'sNo.1Fan
Wouldn't they both challenge it then? Jacobs must be as bright as two in the morning if Leckie showed him up. From what HJ is saying yes they probably would. I was thinking that the SPL would have a strong case for saying no club 12 at all, but a weak case for justifying one or the other.

cyderspaceman
Surely we will have a final and definitive answer to this saga today ?! I'd love to get back to normality where I can put a full uninterrupted shit in at work ! Fixed....................
Lord Elron
They can't, you're not allowed to schedule competition dates on UEFA allocated dates under the terms of the so-called Embargo. Plus (unless you're English chancers) you can't televise without 5pms KO. Anyway they surely won't be reformatting. Enjoyed this picture from yesterday's Telegraph perhaps "then Neil & Stewart heard the result of the SFL vote" Bad News Stewart Ally got the buffet first. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Heidthebaw
Maybe true, maybe not true but a significant number certainly were freemasons. Check the masonic symbols on the dollar note Maybe David Icke had a point, when I think of Regan, cockwomble et al , the lizard theory begins to make sense
ayrmad
Have the halfwits abandoned their attempt to gerrymander the leagues yet or are they still on the acid?
jester
I really struggle to believe anyone would be stupid enough to believe that. Surely SPL chairmen know other chairmen in the SFL and talk to each other? That's what Regans job was. Some board members for the same club probably have litle contact with each other bar at club meetings, it's highly unlikely that board members sit down and chat about this kind of stuff regularly, especially in the close season. The chances of SFL/SPL members meeting are even less.
Jie Bie
Is an 11 team SPL a possibility? Play each other 4 times to give 40 matches. It would give teams like St. Mirren/ICT an extra game against Celtic/Hearts etc and would mean 1 less team to share the pot with. Is this allowed? Even if they could somehow organise this logistically (HJ has already pointed out the need for 44 matchdays) it would be the end of Sevco. An 11 team SPL means Dundee and Dunfermline stay in the SFL, so no place for Sevco in there. A year out would kill them off for good. Ok so maybe they could somehow join the juniors or some amateur league for a season (if they could find one with a vacancy) before re-joining a 12 team SPL, but if it's looking like SFL3 won't provide them with the revenue required for them to survive for the season then surely that would be a no-goer as well?

Kyle
SKY reporting of discussions to bring Rangers back into SPL. Not a surprise really, seeing as that was the first item on the agenda.
cyderspaceman
It was rangers who objected to the licence, hence SFA had to withhold. They want transfer fees remember..... Thanks. I've lost the place in this saga.
