Ned Nederlander
Chico - How's this club being financed? Stop the bus !!! Is that true, did someone in the media actually ask that question and not only that it was Chick
Gaz FFC
Every new signing and fan through the gate must be a kick in the teeth for John Brown. Are people still telling fans not to trust Green and not to buy season tix?
PeeTeeJag
Stop the bus !!! Is that true, did someone in the media actually ask that question and not only that it was Chick Pretty much. He asked how they can afford the players they are bringing in when there is no european football, big sponsors, etc. Green went into politician mode and spoke for about a minute but didn't actually answer the question.

Good for him - well done Chick Young. Although asking questions shouldn't really merit praise when it's part of yer feckin job Well done anyhoo.

Fife Saint
Good for him - well done Chick Young. Although asking questions shouldn't really merit praise when it's part of yer feckin job Well done anyhoo. Before we get carried away here, it was a fairly half-hearted question in between bouts of fawning.

Would have been a laugh if Charlie boy had responded by saying the reason they can afford them is because they are using double contracts and not paying their taxes.
speckled tangerine
So Rangers Trust say 50k earlier, now its only 38k. I know they like to leave early to get the Subway but still..... Someone's at it, one way or another....... The more things change, the more they stay the same. Neat trick.....like a negative seville calculator. Fucking unbelievable. No wait, actually it is.

Although asking questions shouldn't really merit praise when it's part of yer feckin job Well done anyhoo. Nah, he's still a wee tit. It was obvious that Green was playing a straight bat to all the questions and that Chic wouldn't delve deeper. He could have told him that everyone believed it was a full house and that no way was there 12,000 empty seats. Surely East Fife must have been pissed off at that? Or after the waffle, waffle, waffle...........where exactly is this money coming from, and have you paid your footballing debts yet? Green knows like we all do that the EBTs are going to blow up on the club, but Chic was careful not to push him on it. Easy ride from Chico, who was probably on his knees waiting for a facial from Green or McMoist.

Or we are skimming incoming's from the turnstiles and not paying taxes.

cyderspaceman
Presume this game is a sell out. Have just driven back down from the gym and spotted 4 Sevco fans in full regalia outside a pub. Given that we are only about 3 mile from Castle Greyskull I can only conclude that they tried but couldn't get in. Too fat ?
Gaz FFC
Chico - How's this club being financed? Green - We are screwing over teams like East Fife with dodgy attendance figures. The old regime used to screw over big teams, we do things differently now - we screw over diddy teams.

PeeTeeJag
Rangersmedia infighting again over the figures........... Dear Mr BBC, Can you for one fucking minute think about this; do you really, really, really think, that with the football eyes of the world looking in at this game, our team is going to deliberately f**k-about with the figures, to add fuel to the flames. Yourselves, the SPL, SFA, and most of the *****-influenced media are only just putting your dicks away from the w**k-fest that is 'Having A Go At The Gers'. Why would we give you another chance to whip out your little flaccid bellends. So please, kindly f**k off; there is no sinister story to be found here. Yours sincely, The People. "Eyes of the world" Do we think you would f**k about with the figures? Too fucking right we do!!! Araminta Moonbeam QC
By tomorrow the official crowd will be ten thousand, and all filled seats were actually inflatables etc This whole debacle fucking stinks. They must have the highest wage output apart from Celtic in Scotland - not bad for a club with no business plan, accounts, sponsors etc If pics bear out the attendance under reporting, then the SFA should (and I use that word advisedly) ban them from any pay on gate games going forward. Course, we all know that will never happen.
Itwiznaeme
Maybe he's been taking tips from Michael Kelly . The thing with the old style turnstiles at the old Celtic Park (before the new) was it was easy to do lift-overs - the staff on the turnstiles used to allow adult fans to lift children and teenagers over with no charge or for a small 50p fee that the turnstile operator would pocket for himself. This was the old style turnstile used at Celtic Park during the time the Whyte's and Kelly's were at the helm - Very easy "Lift ower's" Edited August 7, 2012 by Itwiznaeme
PeeTeeJag
My mate was at the game and says there were a few empty seats and took a photo to prove it........... Edited August 7, 2012 by PeeTeeJag
cyderspaceman
Over on the Sevco v East Fife thread, dirtydave posted an attendance of 50,411 BEFORE the official attendance was announced. That seems very precise to be an estimate. I'd like to know his source since, according to eye witnesses, it seems more credible than the 38,000 figure.
