HibeeJibee
Big sell on the shares today - Somebody cut and ran before the accounts came out - and by the numbers, it's one of the institutional investors - Artemis, River, or Hargreave Hale: Probably just Super Ally. Realisation dawning in the wake of last night's pumping.
ThirdrockfromtheSon
Wondered how last nights reasult would effect the share price. Who the f**k would be stupid or gullible enough to invest £5295.75 in a cadaver?
Florentine_Pogen
Who the f**k would be stupid or gullible enough to invest £5295.75 in a cadaver? This isn't just any cadaver. This is a Dignified, Struthian cadaver, steeped in brown-broguery and Hale Good Fellowship of the Ludge. Parasites can feed off this corpse for many a day.
G-MAN
Its Hargreave Hale, matches their purchase. So who has bought the shares ? Loans repaid using the open offer money so their working capital is f'd. Someone has bought in the hope of increasing their stake and paving the way for a new share issue perhaps ? Due to the size, they need to announce to the market.

Florrie, I don't ask much of most people, but FFS, could you please refrain from referring to ICBINR as dignified. It doesn't fit the triumphalist, GIRFUY WATP mode of your average Orc. Thanks.

bennett
Wouldn't it be Rangers' owners as opposed to Rangers itself that would face the cost of litigation. FAO HBQC ^^^^^
dave.j
can't anything normal happen? club just stumbles from one clusterf**k to another. own worst enemy do get the impression that there is some financial clean up going on and this new share issue later this year will define if the club has hit a ceiling or will continue to progress up the leagues. the so called investors that are running away don't have the club's best interests at heart, so good rid. 2 years? And still doesn't realise it's now club and company. You could use Club, in the old days. Not now, there's a fairy tale to tell.
strichener
I see Whyte has been banned from being a company director for 15 years. No doubt he can still be a director of the club eh?
Stu
Apparently 99% of Sons of Struth want Sandy Easdale removed as a Rangers director. Thought Sons of Struth only consisted of two people?
nsr
What exactly did Whyte do that makes him worse than all the other rogues and scallywags to have milked the Sevcow dry?

sjc
Got caught. Like you say....got caught. although I'm pretty sure the authorities had his card marked for him historically buying distressed "companies" asset stripping then liquidating them. I think we're all in agreement that SDM "brought" him in to do just this on the belief that Rangers would lose the BTC.
sjc
So Craig Whyte the 'Hero' of so many P & Bers has been described as 'shocking and reprehensible' by Lord Tyre. Figures. even Hitler wasn't ALL bad......

williemillersmoustache
Not me, I welcomed the change from Murray but really knew nothing about Whyte, was certainly reserved about him. The P & Bers proclaimed him as a 'hero' knowing full well he was a crook, basically breaking the law is fine as long as you are royally fucking Rangers in the process it seems. A) Were you duped too? World record levels of duping IMHO B) Too fucking right, got to break some eggs to make an omlette etc
