Ok taking that on board how about we remove the stars that are there for contentious reasons - lesser euro trophies and 10x domestic leagues (snigger) and instead just stick to the universally accepted reason of one for ever European Cup win. Now I wonder how that goes......

the stars were started in the italian leagues for 10 titles and that is the universally accepted usage for them, peraps if you would do some research you wouldnt make an arse of yourself. just a wee reminder for you, rangers put the stars on the shirt first in scotland in 2003 and the likes of celtic (2004) and aberdeen (2005) copied us, the standard for putting stars on shirts was for titles won, celtic and aberdeens stars were a deviation from that - nice try though

8 teams in europe have stars for things other than titles mainly in scotland and england, aberdeen are the only club in europe to have one for the euro charity shield. over a hundred clubs have stars on shirts for titles won

the universally accepted reason is for league titles, over 100 clubs have stars for that, only 8 clubs have stars for other cups , added to that celtic copied rangrs with the star putting it on the shirt a year after we put ours on - made an arse of yourself havent you

Stars of course can be added to any shirts for any reason - Man City have 3 for absolutely no fucking reason what-so-ever.

FWIW I've always quite liked that Aberdeen pitched in with two ... if any mono-brows want to bleat about it then boo-fucking-hoo ... a 'charity' European trophy is just as valuable as 10 heavily skewed two-horse titles.

Saga is finally getting interesting again. So fraud for Whyte buying, for the admin, for the buying of the assets and the double cross on the asset buying.

Could be interesting when details start coming out

You can tell when there's real world action in the offing when the multiple personality brigade spend days wittering on about how the old club's achievements were so much better than everybody else's, and strains every (both, in some cases) brain cell to keep this thread mired in trivia.

the super cup star doesnt embarass you? the only club in europe to have one

^^^ Raging that Aberdeen hold more European titles than the mighty Gers.

Of course, Rangers had their chance, but...

The 1972 final between Dutch team Ajax and Scotland's Rangers is considered unofficial by UEFA, as Rangers were banned from European competition due to the behaviour of their fans during the 1972 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final. As a result, UEFA refused to endorse the competition until the following season.

Classy.

Given the court case saying the sale, admin, asset sale and switcheroo was all fraudulent, is it any wonder Dave king wants to resurrect the old company? Its not so much fritzl moments but a Dallas moment
