£30! :o Think if only you sat in amongst the peasants it would have only cost you £28.50.

What os the deal with LoveFilm> How much and what can you do? ie how many films are month and how long can you keep them?

It was something like £27 not even including fuel to get up there. There is 2 packages im sure but i have no idea what they are. Its something like; £2 = 2 Dvds per months, £5 = more than 2 dvds a month. You keep them for a whole month im sure, i dont really know the details as it wasnt done by me.

B.T.K. (2008) (V)

This was one of the most tediously boring films based on real life serial killers ever. He had a boring method of killing them, when he stuck to the method (Bind, Torture, Kill) - there was never any fucking torture and half the time he just shot them.

Directed by Michael Feifer who seems to have an obsession with writing and directing crap straight to video films about US serial killers having made them about Ed Gein, Richard Speck, Ted Bundy, Dennis Rader, Albert de Salvo and Henry Lee Lucas.

The only positive thing about this man's career is that he was the still photographer on the hilarious comedy horror Drive Thru (which even if you haven't seen it, the key words on IMDb tell you it's gonna be hilarious!)

1/10 - Just very bad!

Argh, just looking at Kane Hodder's (Dennis Rader in B.T.K.) "career" and I've seen ten of the films that he's acted in... plus another nine that he was a stuntman in...

I may, without even knowing of his existence, be his biggest fan.

I was paying about £11 a month for Love Film, and that was getting unlimited rentals (1 at a time) for games and DVDs, you could keep them as long as you wanted to.

It's a good deal, but if you want to sign up go through QuidCo, as when I did I got £16 for taking their free trial (which you could cancel at any time) - I doubt it will be as much these days, but you should still get something.

The Promotion (2008)

Stumbled across the trailer on youtube. Had never heard of it before and after reading some reviews I began to understand why.

Didn't fancy anything else though and the prospect of John C. Reilly and seeing Seann William Scott in a more serious role appealed.

Very low hopes probably helped but I really enjoyed it. Funny throughout without being daft, touching at times and probably quite relevant to a lot of people.

A pleasant enough wee watch.

After going to the cinema last weekend and it costing me just shy of £30 for the missus and I we just signed up to the LoveFilm thingy through Tesco. Time to order some 'classics' that ive never seen.

Taken them up on the 30 day trial just now. Not half bad.

Kick Ass 90%

This i would recommend to anyone. I havent came out of cinema this satisfied in a long time.

The Godfather 78%

Got this through lovefilm, i can see why it's hailed as such a classic.

Zombieland 7/10

Quite funny in places all very tongue in cheek.

Thought the lead was like a diet Michael Cera (of Juno)

Enjoyed it but I think Shaun of the Dead just edges it

Id say it is the other way around, i remember seeing the chap in Zombieland in films way before superbad came out.

Who was this, as none of the credited actors were in Superbad apart from Emma Stone.

Harry Potter and thr Order of the Pheonix - 5/10

It's far from the best film out in the series as it doesn't come close to Prisoner of Azkaban or Goblet of Fire but it's Harry Potter all the same.

Step Brothers - 6/10

Recommended by numerous friends saying that it was hilarious. Apart from some of the insults they throw at each other its a pretty poor movie than just didn't seem to go anywhere and I felt frustrated through most of the movie. Classic Will Ferrell film right enough...

American Beauty - 10/10

Is it any wonder this film recieved 5 Academy Awards?

Spacey is nothing short of outstanding. The soundtrack is awesome with Free and The Who featuring along with the original score by Thomas Newman. I have never came closer to crying at a movie during the "Paper bag scene" with Ricky describing what he was seeing (and yes I have seen Titanic). Very emotional film that has lots of witty humour in it and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Not to sound like a homo but it is probably the most beautiful film ever made. One of very few films that actually make you think about it after you've watched it. It's just an unbelievable film.

Michael Cera was in Superbad

Jesse Eisenberg was in Zombieland but I thought he was very Cera-like

Looking at Jesse's previous films the only one I have seen is The Village so cant comment who was doing their thing first

Babylon AD - WTF? 5/10. If you're ever given the option of watching this don't! Merc escorts girl from Russia to USA, girl turns out to be some sort of human/robot who is pregnant and some cult wants to get their hands on the bairn to validate their religion. Starts of well but quickly fades. Too many unanswered questions and the ending would suggest there is to be a sequel.

Im not disagreeing with your ratings, well maybe a bit :P, but Kick Ass 12 percent greater than The Godfather? It must be pretty damn good.

I guess i'm a sucker for action-packed comedy, and the cinema experience might have had something to do with it.

I'm not taking anything any from the godfather, but then my taste in movies has been far from consistent when comes to a well reknowned classic.

The Ruins - 6/10

Decent "horror" film, with the only problem being that it isn't scary in the slightest. You feel for the victims and the hopelessness of their situation, but when the "baddies" are talking vines and flowers, it's just not got the same impact.

Kick-ass really is a very funny film, but as I sat in the cinema

as the guy went out the window from the bazuka

some guy at the back said to himself pwnd, the whole cinema turned round and cringed, I felt sorry for the guy, he must have felt like a pillock.

Some awesome moments of gore though! I strangely enjoyed it.

Y tu mama tambien (And your mother too) - Alfonso Cuaron (2001) - 8/10

Spanish film based in Mexico. Great coming of age tale of two middle class teenage guys in Mexico City who meet an older girl at a party and invite her on a road trip to a secret beach. Really enjoyed it, great film to just chill to with a beer.
