Walking Down The Halbeath Road

Recommended Posts

Having Spence as backup, allows a larger wage to be available for the first choice midfielders ahead of him, rather than having Falkingham (already a high earner) warming the bench and being unable to afford the wages for the quality of player AJ is looking at. Spence's wages will be at least £200p/w less than Falkingham would demand.

If AJ is targeting a better quality than Falkingham, that's why this decision makes sense. Spence was (by all reports) excellent for Brechin, and showed promise with us last season. Most likely, now has a year to prove that he can fulfil potential.

Can't be bothered trawling p&b for all the abusive comments he got when a Cowden player from you lot but he is a good player and should be better now with a year full time under his belt.

Probably because there weren't any, you're the racist.

AJ and Sandy Clark were at Firhill on Saturday. Not sure who they were possibly looking at right enough. Fucked off 15 minutes early.

They've been taking in as many games as possible recently, could be looking at anyone who is possibly available.

Your wrong on both counts....again

You've come out with a couple of racist remarks on this forum, don't try to cover it up.

Happy with that signing. Suggests to me we're likely going to have two guys (Geggan + Wedderburn) sitting in the tougher away games at Hibs and United. At least it gives us that option.

Hutton seems very popular and makes sense we'd keep him as back-up for Murdoch. I know AJ said he's going to compete for the No.1 jersey but let's be serious...Spence seems like a cheap squad midfielder. I'd think he'd have to impress next season or he'll be offski.

Spence is probably in the same position as James Thomas. Last chance to impress but his form for Brechin has obviously worked in his favour.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. If it doesn't go well then I'd imagine he'll be back out on loan and that'll be him done at the Pars. Let's hope he progresses well over the next six months.
