McPake answered this a while ago tbf. Injured his calf and they’re being extra cautious as he’s not our player.

I must've missed that. Last thing I read was I'm sure before the Inverness game where he said he was "50/50" but would definitely make the next game.....I think

Bloody good idea if it’s true? b00e8d5f-71dd-49f0-b924-76ee337efc02.thumb.jpeg.337fca05a27b01ff9d372f3940a0cece.jpeg

Two things wrong here -

1- It doesn't say whether it's their first penalty or last penalty of the match that wins the pot (bear in mind Andrew Dallas gave them four in a game against St Mirren not so long ago) and

2- 95 isn't nearly high enough. If they're struggling and in need of a penalty, it could go to 100 minutes easily.

When do we meet the criteria for an emergency loan of a CB? We bloody need one now.

Would have to be someone out of contract with UK or Irish citizenship.

Wonder if McPake knows Steven Caulker well from his time at Dundee?

There are a few English boys without a club who are probably more realistic but what sort of condition would they be in if we bring someone in they would be playing right away.

you can't get emergency loans for outfield players

You can't get emergency loans for anyone. They used to be allowed for goalkeepers in the Championship but no longer.

We wouldn't be able to register him.

Think he would be registered with us already, with his temporary transfer a separate thing. But maybe someone who has a better grasp of admin would be able to confirm.

To be fair the boy the Rovers brought in seemed to cope OK the other night...

Still provision in the spfl rules for emergency goalkeepers, doesn’t have any specification for what league you are in.

You are right domestic loanees are registered with their parent club with the loan agreement separate, however if you cancel a loan, they can’t become eligible to play first team matches until the next window.

Finally have confirmation that the Rosyth project is underway, been diggers there since that start of the month and a real culmination of a lot of hard work to get it to the stage when the professionals can take over and do the easy bit and build a pitch.

Was addressed in passing in an interview with him. He apparently runs a P.E. business of some sort on the side, just hadn’t played since June. He had had some inquiries about signing before we called him and said he probably should have taken one of them earlier, but was still in playing physical form due to his side hustle. Also helped he’s had several seasons under the belt so he understood what it would take.

Judging by all other teams threads, O’Reilly could be a popular laddie come January if we don’t extend him, seems a bad year for defenders out injured.

Good to get some official word from the club, that puts to bed all the reports/rumours from ‘in the know’ people, who apparently didn’t know anything.

Pleased that work is underway and it’s nice to get an idea of the timeline as well.

Problem with any construction at this time of the year is that it's so weather dependent.

Main thing for me was that it will be all done snag free by pre season.
