What he may lack in gut busting runs he makes up for in defensive know how and bags of experience. I may well get shot down here but whenever I've seen Logan Chalmers play I've not been overly fussed This is just my opinion but I can’t see Stevenson going to anyone else but us (unless Livi magically find a budget and throw money at it to go straight back up) he’s a Kirkcaldy lad, rovers supporter and was supposedly coming to us last season until Hibs gave him a 1 year extension and for Chalmers the word around is that he’s agreed a pre-contract with us… but the most likely out of the names mentioned for you guys would be Hanlon

Lives in Dunfermline, his kid goes to our foundation programme, and where those two things are only little things I don't think it's completely off the table. Both him and Hanlon ex team mates of McPake also, however I'm sure they'll also both have played with Ian Murray. As I said, fully expect Stevenson to join RR but say that wasn't an option for him, I think he could end up with us. Sounds like Hanlon was being lined up on loan in Jan but Hibs knocked it back so the communication lines are possible already open there.

Meekinson also linked. Wasn't Meekinson not pretty poor at Falkirk in League 1 too. Hope neither of these moves happen.

To be fair to Meekinson I think he got a bad injury in either his first or second game and never actually played much. I think before we got Mochrie in that Meekinson was arguably thought more highly off, but not sure if that injury changed things?

He didn't really play, think he got injured in his first training session and went back to Dundee Utd. I think he's the one most thought would have the brightest future.

Just cheap bait seing how it was such an issue for some this season at starks. Unless we didn't charge that, but I thought that was the case. Iv no issue with it and fully expect most clubs to be roughly the same for next season tbf.

AuldReekie
If terms are right, I'd consider Mochrie an upgrade on, or better prospect than, Summers, Moffat, Allan, etc. Was hit or miss first time round but technically, I thought he showed real promise. You can coach work ethic and game management more than ability so there's a decent upside with Mochrie IMO. He fits with the business model of the club so Id imagine we're showing strong interest. He's not the strength we need but I wouldn't be unhappy.

The issue at Starks was that you were charging away fans of some teams £24. Away fans for all teams next season will pay £22 at EEP.
DAFC.
Mochrie definitely has something about him. Would have him over the likes of Moffat and Summers.

Mochrie would be a good signing for any championship team, would have been happy enough if he had got a new deal at Utd but think better for his career he goes somewhere that he’ll play most weeks at his age. Could kick on to be a very good player and hope he does.

RAITHROVERS84
I see a number of Falkirk fans have descended on the Pars forum. Seems to be like some weird desire to get plaudits for their league 1 campaign and for everyone to tell them how good they are? I fully expect them to have a good championship season and top 4 is definitely a possibility as the core of the squad is good - ps you’re welcome for Brad Spencer, Tom Lang and Ethan Ross. That said there’s a bigger gap between Champ and League 1 than Prem to Champ for me (arse cheeks aside) as you go from part-time football to full time. You can only beat what’s in front of you but that was a very weak L1. From DU would absolutely take Chalmers as he caused us all sort of bother and couldn’t believe DU had him loaned out. Decent replacement if Easton leaves. Be interesting to see where Wotherspoon ends up…lot of teams could do with that type of player.

Meekison managed 15 minutes on the park for us. We were indeed delighted to get him and he looked good even in that short period. Was a right scunner he got injured.
