Rob1885
this is so fucking confusing!
ScottyC
Nae idea what these tweets are about. One minute positive the next negative. Why can't these fuckers just tell us in a single plain statement where its at???
Hughsie
@BBCBMcLauchlin: The Pars Community Trust set 10.00am deadline for Dunfermline owner Gavin Masterton to agree deal or they will walk away#bbcsportscot Fingers crossed. Are the Scottish media unable to report a story without using the phrase 'walking away' any more? It's annoying as f**k.
EdinburghPar1975
Been reading the tweets from tonights meeting and it would appear that Masterton has offered to transfer his shares and also DAFC get EEP but it was rejected.....can only assume no debt would be wiped out?
DomDom
Aye, that minor irrelevant detail is worth getting upset about.
Gaz FFC
What do the Pars community Trust want and what does Masterton want to do? I'm very confused by what needs to happen here. Also if someone can give me an idea of the likelihood of DAFC playing out the rest of the season that'd be grand.
Fotbawmad
So you pay the tax man then have nothing left. I think you are simplyfying the issues here. Everybody deserves to be paid (players, staff, contractors, utilities) Edit to add - any creditor can apply for a winding up order. Hector will always give you the most grief, followed by the banks. If you're not paying him you're probably not paying any other creditor either. Meaning the liklihood is you're insolvent. I wonder if he has any insolvency experience. Judging by the advice Masterton has knowingly recieved. It would appear he doesn't understand the full implications of liquidation.
EdinburghPar1975
To be honest i've no idea what TPC want having read that tonight, its actually lke they want liquidation but time will show whats been going on. As regards finishing the seasn i'd have said 50/50 before tonight...now its probably 25/75 against...
Raith Against The Machine
That @Pars1885/The Pars Community account in Twitter is a bit of a bombscare, information wise. Very confusing trying to work out what's gone on at the meeting tonight. Hopefully someone who was there can post up a bit of a summary, covering the general mood of the room, and those doing the talking.
BrigtonClyde
Jesus, nearly got a nose bleed comin all the way up to the 1st Division forum ... Just to say all the best to the Pars fans. Hope you get your club sorted out the way you're wanting I think you will somehow

HibeeJibee
So is the suggestion that Masteron was prepared to hand-over the club + stadium, but only with a lot of debt attached?
ScottyC
It appears (out of greed) the TPC have slit our throat
Disco Duck
Why on earth would Masterton hand over his shares, his directorship, the stadium and wipe out his debt for no return? Leaving him with a massive bank debt and no asset?
vikingTON
Edit: ^^^ aye, that. Not realistic. Edited March 14, 2013 by vikingTON
Gaz FFC
Do TPC seriously think they have the knowledge and wealth to sort this? Dunfermline have spent 15 years building this house of cards. Do they have such a high opinion of themselves that they can fix this in weeks/months?
HibeeJibee
Maybe it's brinkmanship and TPC are hoping he'll reduce the debt demands come tomorrow?
Rob1885
does anyone involved in this actually want the club to survive or is everybody just trying to come out of it looking good?:
GordieBoy80
It appears (out of greed) the TPC have slit our throat Am I being dim here but how have they done that ?
vikingTON
Maybe it's brinkmanship and TPC are hoping he'll reduce the debt demands come tomorrow? Maybe it's aimed at shifting 100% of the blame to the nasty banker, 'walk away' and form a Newco that pretends to represent the legitimate club and business. They were 'duped' etc.
