Tonsilitis
£200,000 to run the club every month players average wage £500? x20 players £10K Close the rest of the club down apart from the restuarants on match days. Job done. x20 = £10k per week = £500k per annum. Then add national insurance = £70k Oh and what about a manager and a kitman and a groundsman and a physio and maybe some admin staff. Then there's that big hunk of real estate that council insist on getting their rates on plus maybe we need to keep it insured. We better not forget match day costs like stewards and police who also like to be paid. I am sure if you try hard you can think of some other costs! I think you need to cause I think you missed some first time round!

DAFC
How much does it cost to run Morton or Partick. I'll bet you it's nothing like 200K yet they are doing better than us.

Morton costs around half that amount to run per month but their debt due to Golden Casket Group (circa £1.5m from memory) is interest free. The club also owns the ground and adjacent car park
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Who is the 14 year old that Yorkston took a sideswipe at on Scotsport? Edit, meant to say Sportsound. Edited February 20, 2013 by Zen Archer
DAFC
Who is the 14 year old that Yorkston took a sideswipe at on Scotsport? Edit, meant to say Sportsound. That'll be the pesky kid who held a gun to their heads and made them pay wages we couldn't afford for ten years. Blaming the fans will get them onside....... It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.
Only coo in the village
Yorkston talking his usual sh1t on Sportsound yesterday. The guy is as slippery as a snake oil salesman and the Interview being conducted in the dark as the candle had burned out. Once difficult questions were asked the line suddenly went dead. Apparently all of you Internet warrior Pars fans are to blame for trying to bring the club down so shame on you

Thistle's annual running costs are about £1.5million, which includes debt servicing.
DAFC
Our turnover is quite high, was around 2.5M around 2011. I expect that to be more than any other club in the SFL but what's the point if it's not profitable? Poet of the Macabre
Not always an exact science but if someone blames others for their own problems then you can usually tell they've royally fucked up and don't want to admit it.

It's a massive contribution, especially from a major sponsor who plough in thousands of pounds already per season.
Lex
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/21536293 What do Dunfermline fans make of that statement from Masterton? To paraphrase... DAFC
and cowdenbeath, st johnstone, and falkirk, and scottish power and the gas company but apart from that... How can we sell the ground twice? Hey, do you want to buy a football stadium? You only have to pay us £12M now and another £12M in thirty years time. My head is starting to hurt after watching the interview, he makes that Iraqi information minister look like a pro. what the actual f**k Edited February 21, 2013 by DAFC

The guy Purvis seems an honest type.
