Lisa Cuddy
It's not a dig. By that point i was remembering pubs by the beer i had, rather than names. Me, DJchappers and Bert(i think) had the same beer and all declared it was pish. I was more looking for one of them to confirm that was the pub in question. You maybe did get a Belgian beer there but the Wiliams Bros are an Alloa based brewery. I've never had a pish Wiliams Bros beer.

Lisa Cuddy
I think you mean Big Blue. It's now closed. A poor choice of pub for Kelvinbridge given the options available! I was told it was called Deep Blue Sea? I only wanted to go for the beer but if it's shut that ends the discussion anyway!
Fudge
Please advise. Ta. Wise Monkey just across the road is the best pub for Kelvinbridge. Coopers is also fairly decent, especially if there is a larger group. I used to live about 30 seconds walk from Big Blue/Wise Monkey/Coopers so have drank myself silly in just about every pub in the area.
Gaz
Shhh. Where is it really? Should be Edinburgh imo! It's okay, Philpy's organising it.

Sounds like a Chipshop to me, were we that pissed?

Sweet Pete
I was so gone by that point that after I got back from finding Sammy again I thought that folk were just drinking on the concrete path by the Kelvin. Weird place for a bar, it was really dark by that point too.
Fudge
where did you go for St. George's Cross?
ffcsam
Could someone post a list of those pubs we were in? It could help for advice on possible better bars to go to
Fudge
For Kelvinbridge, the Old Schoolhouse is possible the best of the bunch. Completely forgot about it. It has a covered beer garden with TV's (and patio heaters - I think!)

Fudge
What were the 'rules'? Was it any alcoholic drink, had to be a pint or just do whatever you please as long as you're enjoying yourself?
