jamamafegan
Noel's doing an album signing on the 7th of March at the HMV Argyle Store, Glasgow. Wish I could go but I'm working and I probably can't afford to make my way to Glasgow to be in presence of god for a few precious seconds Info here for anyone who's interested: http://www.hmv.com/hmvlive/noel-gallagher Edited February 17, 2015 by jamamafegan

Rob1885
The Right Stuff, The Riverman and Dying of the light are toppers. Ballad of the Mighty I is a belter tae ut released already.
KnightswoodBear
Had a listen to it in the car on the way into work this morning. It's good, and I think it will be a grower. Lock All The Doors was the one that stood out for me from the tracks I was hearing for the first time. I'll still need to order the CD though.
jamamafegan
Noel to be a pundit on this Sunday's Match of The Day 2. Should be good.

Afro
Pre-ordered Ballad of the Mighty I on 7" vinyl, arrived today, sounding class. Was tempted to listen to the leak but I'll hold off for the album. Prefer the excitement of unwrapping it and putting it on the player.
KnightswoodBear
Had another few listens and the only song that I really dislike is The Right Stuff.
Lisa Cuddy
Had another few listens and the only song that I really dislike is The Right Stuff. Yep, always skip it in the car. The whole album (aside from that) just gets better with each listen.
Paco
If any of you cats fancy PM'ing me a link to the album download, that'd be much appreciated. Can't find it online anywhere, may be something to do with Virgin Media who are blocking virtually everything at the moment.
KnightswoodBear
Yep, always skip it in the car. The whole album (aside from that) just gets better with each listen. Yeah, I'd agree with that. Lock All The Doors gives me a bit of a What's The Story... buzz. Love it.
Lisa Cuddy
Yeah, I'd agree with that. Lock All The Doors gives me a bit of a What's The Story... buzz. Love it. Ha, that's the song I turn up when it comes on! A proper, drumming-on-the-steering wheel, sing it loud song.
jamamafegan
The album is free to listen to on itunes...couldn't resist and got it on now.
jamamafegan
It is fair to say I am suitably blown away. It's an incredible album and it's much better than his already excellent debut effort. Agree with you Knightswoodbear & Mrs. M that Lock All The Doors has a very Oasis feel to it. It's fucking rock n roll. Have to disagree with you both on The Right Stuff, there is absolutely no way I'll be skipping that in the car! I think it's brilliance. It's so so chilled and is a lovely break in the first half of the album which is very rocky. The Dying Of The Light I can imagine will be a big hit at gigs, get the candles out for that one. The Mexican sounds like a level in the game "Crash Bandicoot." Funky stuff. This album deserves to be huge and I hope it's as successful as it deserves to be!
KnightswoodBear
The Girl With The X Ray Eyes is like The Masterplan MkII. And that is a very, very good thing.

Well Liam's band turned into a total irrelevancy and then packed it in, so aye, he's doing a bit better!
Lisa Cuddy
Not sure if this has been posted here before but someone sent me the link earlier and I loved it. You can skip the first 4 minutes. It's the stuff after that that's gold.
Fratelli
Very very good album, You Know We Can't Go Back is the best song he's written in a long time IMO. I'd say melodically the album beats anything he's done since maybe DBLT
