YER SISTERS YER MAW
Stumbled across this earlier. Some songs Noel wrote and recorded way back in 1988. Night and day compared to the songs he wrote for Oasis and HFB. He looks a lot like Liam in those pics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DUeECFrS2k
BradHorse
This is a very underrated gem by Noel from Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, imo: Always loved this version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqDI3dUnYqE
Paris Hilltoon
Sneaky b*****d, so he is. I love it now, but that could have been sensational all polished up with Liam in his prime.

Gaz FFC
Found myself watching the Knebworth gig last weekend. Oh to go back to 96 and Oasis in those days. Absolutely untouchable
underdogunderdog underdog
Found myself watching the Knebworth gig last weekend. Oh to go back to 96 and Oasis in those days. Absolutely untouchable It was a great time to be growing up. I remember queuing overnight to get tickets for Balloch gig. One of the best gigs I've been to as they were at the peak of their powers.
Thundermonkey
Balloch was overblown, pompous self indulgence. The gig at Irvine Beach was however, electrifying. As were the 2 gigs they played at the Barras in their prime i.e. prior to Morning Glory.
pantene proV
Aah Irvine Beach - the whole crowd swaying & singing Hey Jude at the end of the gig Oasis were at their peak then. Quite enjoyed Cast as support too, can't remember the other band tho
JamieT1314
Really not digging the new Noel album, gave it a chance over the last couple of months but it just isnt grabbing me, first one is much better.
Black Craig
The Verve supported on Fri nite at Irvine Beach and Cast supported on the Saturday night!! Both gigs were amazing but I'd plump for the Saturday night one as the best I ever seen Oasis out of the 11 times I saw them!! :-)

AberdeenHibee
Superb song. Even after 4 years solid of listening to them religiously I am still rediscovering songs which I wasn't so into 2 years ago which are now immense. Superb song.
Gaz FFC
I tend to do that a lot. I've everything Oasis did yet still manage to find gems from time to time just by hearing stuff on here or mucking about on you tube. I was once building furniture listening to Be Here now when Magic pie came on ❤️❤️. Lost in a world of Noel for a while.

Before wonder wall was released if my memory serves me correctly, I loved it when the crowd started singing, we all live in a Scottish housing scheme to the tune of yellow submarine. Could see Noel asking someone what we were singing then bursting out laughing. Did the verve support ?

YER SISTERS YER MAW
Forgot how good a day this was. Oasis were on top form. I got as far as the 2nd row when they came on but had to move back after a couple of songs because it was absolute chaos.
