WhiteRoseKillie
http://www.philmacgiollabhain.ie/escape-to-austerity/#more-4367 Cheers, Dhen. Again, interesting that the writer is presenting information as factual which, if proven false, could drop himm in deep doo-doo. He's either got some genuine information, believes he is within the law, or doesn't think that the "institution" can either pay for their own brief or qualify for legal aid. Have you got a link to the club statement denying, rebutting and disproving the various claims made by Phil mac recently? No? I wonder why that is?
bennett
Norman expects Rangers to respond to Phil McGilligans Island' claims, that would be a 24/7 job lol
scottxs
Norman expects Rangers to respond to Phil McGilligans Island' claims, that would be a 24/7 job lol they should respond cause if it's lies they should sue him into the Stone Age. If it's true then you lot are buggered

If it's true then you lot are buggered If there was a case with a proper media outlet then yes they could be open to legal action. But McGilligans Island has nothing to lose.
scottxs
If there was a case with a proper media outlet then yes they could be open to legal action. But McGilligans Island has nothing to lose. if its on the internet then it follows the same rule as if written in the papers. the police can arrest someone for a tweet or facebook message. and if most of what he's writing is lies then the rangers could have a strong case. remember the rangers have shut down tweets from that charlotte person and sons of struth.

Ragers fans philosophy ?, if it isn't released from Gestapo HQ in Govan then it's all lies. If it doesn't paint the club in a good light ?, then it's all made up pish. Etc etc etc.

Etc etc etc. Regardless of the hard of thinking's opinions of writers' bias and personal agendas, what has been written is either truthful or not. In either case, it could easily be seen as damaging to the "brand" (no sniggering!). If such damage could be proved to be cause maliciously, that is by publishing lies and defamation, the rangers should be all over it. That they've done so in the CF and SoS situations demonstrates that no-one is too small or insignificant to get the letter from m'Learned Friends. So, in the absence of a denial or any action against a writer who is clearly trying to damage their reputation, why the lack of reponse? Maybe, just maybe, he's (at least in part) telling the truth?
scottxs
You missed the point.. and the point is. ? 500 million the rangers supporters worldwide and not 1 of them has alerted the club/company of these so called slandering type blogs. and if the club/company do know of it then why not deflect/deny its the rangers way is it not.

bennett
Right, according to Phil we have not paid HMRC despite being on real time PAYE, how does that work? Our CEO was/is going to walk on Monday Tuesday Wednesday Soon, we are about to go into admin, we are not going to pay anymore wages, did I miss anything? All dire news I agree. Now how the hell does all this shite hitting the fan cause our share price to go up?!!!!!! Does this have something to do with the £28m worth of shares we sold? Where is the QC to explain it all? Philip basically just posts any old shite, if he's right then he crows about it and if he's wrong then he's slung some mud at Rangers. It's win win for him. Now we all know the state the clubs in, no one is denying it but Philip knows as much or as little as the rest of us do.

Your share price is at standstill at the moment with 10x the number coming onto the market than have been snapped-up this week. Only a few thousand being bought unwisely above what they could have been acquired for have caused a marginal (under 1%) rise.
