Sons' sorrow

Enjoyable game and it was a great send off to Shay. Going to miss him! Will never forget the last minute blunder against Thistle the day we got relegated to the 3rd division, or his stunning performance against Arbroath in the play-off semis.

JD and Ryan Borris still have it. Would love to see Andy Geggan back at the rock at some point, would be a good replacement for Turner.

I just missed out on the Paddy Flannery era so glad I got to see him score in a Dumbarton shirt today.

Geggan isn't the same level as Turner. We have progressed a lot since he was with us.

Brilliant afternoon.

Great to see some old faces back at the ground. think it was the first time that our first time has been told to ease off a little. Could easily have been double figures.

Geggan was a great player when he was with us but tbh wouldn't be in a hurry to have him back. Even though he's FT I'm sure we could get better players than him.

Would be nice to get a time machine and bring back Brittain,Flannery and Brown mind you.

I notice that referee john beaton was headbutted by.a player at a game in Saudi arabia at the weekend. He then sent off three players and booked eight more. At the end of the game he was given.a police escort from the ground.

I.was unaware that Scottish junior teams played in Saudi Arabia

We're being linked with 6"4 Albion Rovers striker, Mark McGuigan on the League 2 transfers thread. Hit 11 goals this season. Stranraer and Dunfermline also interested apparently.

Haven't seen him in a few years but I'd be surprised if he's improved so much that he'll cut it up here. Having said that...Jim Lister.
